Wilderness Lodge excitement!
I just spoke to one of my business associates from Detroit who just got back from WDW with his family. They stayed at WL and absolutely LOVED it. And they got an added perk....Phil Collins was there filming music and what not, for the upcoming Disney Movie Brother Bear! Apparantly he is doing a lot on the soundtrack of the movie! My friend said there was a lot of excitement in the hotel, especially the day that they were really shooting and recording most of the footage and music!!!

How exciting!! I can't imagine being at the same place as Phil Collins. WL is always so quiet and relaxing, I bet it wasn't that day!!

Wow! What a perk. The WL is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed it very much last trip.

WOW. AWESOME!!! Phil Collins is soooo cool! I'm glad he's doing music for Brother Bear, because all his music for Tarzan was just excellent.

When we were doing the Animation Tour in September last year (LOVE that tour!!!) we could see animation cels in progress on the artists' drawing boards, including many of what appeared to of this Movie (as well as a very, very early teaser poster for the film, which back then was simply called 'Bears'). I distinctly remember one half finished background cel of what appeared to be a tanker truck stuck in some mud...would be cool if this made it to the final cut. CM

How fantastic ! Phil Collins is a great ambassador for all things good about music. The soundtrack for Tarzan still gives me pimples when I hear hit so I look forward to the new material.
WL is a wonderful place. We upgraded from CB to WL on our last vacation. As it was after just after 9/11 the hotel was naturaly very quiet so they offered us the upgrade for 10 nights for under $300 and then proceeded to give us what I must think was the best room in the hotel. It was in the far right corner on the top floor overlooking the lagoon. What a beautiful hotel which makes you so proud to call your home for that short time.
