Has ANyone stayed at the DoubleTree Guest Suites on WDW Property

I will be staying at the Doubletree Guest Suites on the WDW property Oct 11-17.

Has anyone stayed here recently?:)

I would like to hear from someone who has stayed at this hotel, and their experience.

welcome to Disney Central. I have not stayed at this hotel, but wanted to welcome you all the same. I know that the Unofficial Guide to WDW, Passporter, and wdwig.com may have information on this hotel. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

Hi there. First I also want to welcome you to DC. You'll love it here.
Anyway back to the question at hand. My DH and I stayed here this past July for only 1 night. We drove down from NJ and got in a day earlier so we wound up staying there since we couldnt add on a night at the AKL.
The room was pretty neat: it had a small kitchen, a medium living room and then the bedroom was on the other side. We had a king size bed with a nice view and a hugh bathroom.
After checking out the room we went down stairs and checked out the bar which was ok a little small. The bartender her name was margaretta was so awesome. Then we just hung out by the pool. It was a good size, a little crowded but ok and then we just went back to the room to watch tv and hit the hay.
Overall we liked it and I dont think that you will be disapppointed at all.
I hope this helps you out a little bit.
Oh and one more thing they did have a disney gift shop inside and disney stuff all in the lobby ETC so it does get you excited while you are there.

Hey twwintn, welcome to Disneycentral! I've stayed at the Double tree at Downtown Disney before and liked it alot! Wedindisney did a good job of describing the room for you, I would just want to add that they have a TV in the bathroom!!! lol That blew m little brain away, :dazed :p . The resort is the only DTD hotel I would be willing to visit agian.
