What a great web-site. Thanks. I dont know why but I never thought about staying there but after seeing the pictures I am thinking about mentioning it to my DH in the am and show him the sight and see what he thinks about it.
I was reading a few things about this resort from this site also and the only thing that Im not to sure about and maybe someone who has stayed there can answer this question for me.
How long is the walk to the buses? And is there more than 1 bus stop? Thanks :)

Bus stops

WEDINDISNEY,

There were 4 bus stops at Coronado Springs when I was last there (September 2002). There used to be 3, but I think they added the extra one to cut down on walk times.

There is now a main one at El Centro, where the shops and Pepper Market are located. As it is located to the Cabana's side of El Centro, this stop is also very convenient for some of the Cabana buildings. There is also a bus stop in the Casitas area, one at the Ranchos and one in the Cabanas, but at the other end of the Cabanas area to El Centro.

How far you would have to walk to a bus stop depends on where you are in the resort. On both my visits there, I've been close to a bus stop and had no more than a minute's walk to the nearest one. However, some of the more far flung rooms would definitely need a longer walk than that.

I know CowboyMickey posted a resort map a while back, I think the bus stops would be visible on it.

This is a map of the resort I scanned in for LRTJS a while back - here I've marked the bus stops with a blue circle. The picture is unfortunately necessarily small, but it should give you an idea as to the layout with respect to the bus stops.

I'm guessing here, but I reckon you'd never be more than 5 minutes away from a stop...

Thanks for the info. I was talking with DH about it today and I showed him this web-site and he really liked it. I have to check out prices etc and see but we might be staying there in June it looks like. I still cant believe that DH wants to go back to WDW and also do the cruise later on in the year. I hope that his money tree keeps growing between now and then. :laugh :D

Just returned from the wonderful place! It is just beautiful. We were less than a 30 sec. walk to the bus stop (we drove our own car though and it worked much better for us) and about 3 min. from the Dig Site which was so very pretty. We never had any need to go back to El Centro as we ate our meals at the resorts. I love CSR!!!!
