OKW cleaning question

OK, I've heard that DVC members get 'reduced' room cleaning at DVC resorts (every couple of days instead of daily maid service). Is this true?

If so, do non-DVC members staying at a DVC resort get the same service, or do they receive the regular daily maid services?

Not that I'm a slob or anything....

I don't have an answer for ya, but I'm bumping this back up because I'm curious as well.

If you stay at a DVC property on a cash basis, you will get daily housekeeping, just like that at a Disney resort hotel. If you are staying using DVC points, whether yours or someone else's, you will get housekeeping as DVC members get (ie. trash & towel pickup after so many days; a full cleaning after so many days).

If you are a DVC member and are staying a week, you get a towel change and trash pickup in the middle of your week. You do not get complete maid service unless you request and pay for it. If you are staying more than one week, you get a complete clean at the end of the first week.

Actually, with the washer, dryer and dishwasher, this really isn't a problem. The suites are so beautiful and very large and easy to maintain. Personally, I enjoy tidying it up. I like to pretend I live there.
