Boardwalk Inn Garden Suites?

Anybody know the pricing on these? I google-ed every possible site, but can't seem to find the info I'm looking for. Thanks! :D

according to the new Birnbaum's they sound pretty nice dznygrl. White picket fences, private garden, loft bedroom. They don't specifically mention the rate, but I assume it would be on the HIGH side. Most expensive concierge suites are $505 in value to $610 in peak season. So I would think you'd be looking at something in this range. I would simply call Boardwalk and ask.

I looked it up in my Handy Dandy Passporter (Steve from Blue's clues would be proud) These are the rates printed in the 2003 edition:

Standard (Inn) or Studio (Villas):
Value = $289 Regular = $329 Peak = $394 Holiday = $449

Water View (Inn)
Value = $360 Regualr = $405 Peak = $470 Holiday = $530

One-Bedroom (Villas)
Value = $390 Regular = $435 Peak = $505 Holiday = $570

Two-bedroom (Villas)
Value = $545 Regular = $705 Peak = $890 Holiday = $1010

The Unoffical Guide really bashes the views from this resort. They only give a handful of room numbers that they consider to be a decent view. I never spend enough time in my room to care, but on your honeymoom, you may want to condiser the romantic factor. I do not have a first-hand opinion and am only going by what I looked up for you. The UGTWDW tends to be a little too critical at times. I hope some of these prices at least give you an idea of what to expect price wise.

Re: The Unofficial Guide

I agree with you Dana. They seem to make such a big deal out of it. You begin to think that maybe 5 rooms in the whole place are the only desirable ones. We stayed in a "standard" view studio villa at Boardwalk. It overlooked the front of Boardwalk and it was just fine. The ironic thing is these are the first ones to go, because they're cheaper. And I quite enjoyed watching everyone coming and going. For the amount of time you spend in your room, this is really a minor consideration.

True. I'm more worried about where the room is located inside. I like a room that is close to the main areas (restaurants, check-in etc) Don't get me wrong, I love a good view, but this is way down on the bottom of my list of considerations. By changing my Savannah view to a standard view on my upcoming trip, I was able to swing another day easier. I would much rather have an extra day at WDW. I can go outside and look at the animals. I may even get a upgrade...stranger things have happened. I got one at WL for free, maybe I'll be lucky this time too.

Thanks guys! :) We're looking at maybe staying in one of the garden suites for just 1 or 2 nights of our honeymoon...for our "off-park" relaxation days. This will be our little splurge. :heart

You will love the garden suites, the one place I really, really want to stay. If you want to do it, even for one night, get it booked soon, they are always sold out. It really is a wonderful place to spend a honeymoon or anniversary.

:laugh Yeah, seriously!! For the price of 2 nights in that room, I could book a whole 'nother trip! We had been previously looking at staying at the Grand Floridian for a while, but I thought "let's try out the Boardwalk. It'll be romantic but cheaper." YIKES! Then I had to go and read about THOSE rooms!!!
