Reservation Question

I am new to Disney Central. And I have a question. What exactly is bumping up? Do they charge you for it? I know this may sound like a silly question, but I would like to know exactly how it works.

Hi and Welcome!! :D
If you mean being upgraded all you have to do is ask!! When you check in just ask if you can get a complimentary upgrade and usually if it is available you will get it!!:)

One other thing she could mean tnkrbell, is being bumped to a new resort. Disney will often offer incentives for a different resort if the resort you call for is booked up. So, you want to stay at Coronado Springs, but it is full, or nearly full, and the CRO offers you rooms at Wilderness Lodge for a rate similar to what you would have paid at CS.

Or, maybe she is talking about standing in line at the Haunted Mansion, I always get bumped there. :D

Thanks for the info and the warm welcome. I have to admit last year was the first time I had ever stayed on Disney property. I must admit that is the only way to go. So, when I head down there in January I will ask and see if I can receive a complimentary upgrade. The daughter is insisting that we stay at the Grand Floridian. Me personally I'd rather stay at one of the resorts closer to the boardwalk.
