Parking at the Contemporary Resort
Guys, I need your advice with situation: I have a PS for breakfast at Chef Mickey and afterwards we will be going to MK. Do I have to move my car for the Contemporary Resort (CR) parking lot to the MK parking lot or will they allow me to leave my car at CR and walk to MK?
Sorry if this is not the right place for this question, this is the first thread I ever post. Thanks for your help. Gracias, Alfredo :D

what time is your PS? You could just park and take the monrail to the Contemporary for your PS. The only bad thing is that you have to switch monrails when you are ready to go to MK but hey it's a nice ride around the resorts.

I agree with kphil, park at the MK and take the monorail to the CR. The CR is the first stop coming from the MK. You could even walk, it's about a 5 minute walk from the front of the MK. When you are finished, hop on the monorail and have fun riding back to the MK. It is a direct route from the CR to the MK but you will go by the Poly and GF on your way to the MK.

I have another solution. If you are an off-site guest, valet park it for 6 dollars and you can stay there all dya. Better yet,if you have a handicapped sticker for your car, your valet parking will be free. The last time I went to MK,I ate at Grand Floridian and valet-parked there before going in to MK.

If you are staying at a WDW resort hotel, there is an early morning character breakfast bus that will take you to the Contemporary Resort. Then afterwards, either walk to the MK or take the monorail. After your day in the MK, hop on your resort bus.
If you are staying off-site, your best bet is to drive to the MK parking lot and take the resort monorail to the Contemporary Resort. After your breakfast, you can go directly to the MK for the day. |

Parking at the Contemporary Resort
We just recently had a Chef Mickey's breakfast with a 10:30 PS. We were staying at OKW resort where the bus service can be a little slow at times. We hit the bus stop at about 9:35 and went to the Magic Kingdom, jumped right on the Monorail and arrived Chef Mickey's at about 10:15. After breakfast, which was really terrific, we just hopped on the Monorail and were in the MK in no time. It was very easy and I was a little concerned because we had my 2, almost 3 and almost 4 yr old grandchildren with us. Like a lot of children, they loved the Monorail and thought it was one of the attractions.
Enjoy Chef Mickey's! It was our first time and we will be going back for sure.

I would definitely pay the $6 Valet parking fee and stay parked there all day. The Valet parking is then good all day at all the deluxe resorts, so it might be good day to see the Christmas decorations and not worry about parking at any of the deluxe resorts. MK is a 7 or 8 minute walk from CR and make sure they give you the colored valet pass, so you can use it all day. When I was there last week, whenever I entered a deluxe resort, they never even questioned why I was there after they saw the valet parking pass.
