All this birthday talk got me thinking...

Does anyone know if I called the WL ahead of time would they buy me a MM doll at the gift shop there, charge it to my room and have it in my room upon arrival? I know Gifts of a Lifetime does this but they charge 20 bucks just for the delivery fee. Has anyone ever asked at a resort to do something like this?

Also - give me your opinions...we'll be celebrating the baby's birthday when we're there (we arrive on his bday) but my DD will have a birthday 2 weeks later...would it be tacky of me to tell them at CRT that it's her bday so they sing to her?? I mean it's almost her birthday (she'll be 6 btw)

I know that they will put it on a credit card and have it put in your room. They even will go as far as a card signed my the "man" him self if you request it. Call Guest Services at your resourt you are staying.

:heart :) :) :heart

I think it depends on the resort you are staying at. At All Star Sports, I've never been able to actually get the item into the room. I second Becca's suggestion of making a call to the resort you're staying at.

I would DEFINATELY pick a date for DD's birthday while you are there. You just pick the date and tell everyone you're "celebrating" her birthday. Make sure to get them their birthday buttons at Town Hall or Guest Services, if at another park. Enjoy!

Cheryl, I am pretty sure you can arrange to have the gift put in the room. You can make the purchase at disneystore.com, have the present sent to the hotel you are staying at and let know the front desk in advance that this package will be arriving for you. I am sure they will put in the room.

Guys, what's this about birthday buttons at the parks? Do birthday boys and girls get any special treat or attention at the parks?

My DW, DD and I are taking my mother in law to WDW for her first time plus she will be celebrating her birthday during our visit there. We have PS at Chef Mickey for breakfast on 12/21 and arranged to have a small cake made so that the characters will brign it to our table!

Gracias,
Alfredo
:D

You can even take it one step further, when you make your PS's let them know for each one that it isa birthday trip. We did this a few years ago and every single night was a birthday celebration for dessert for our DS's!

Guest Services at each park has a birthday button for guests. Just stop by when you enter the park and ask for the birthday button.

Guests wearing birthday buttons are often wished a Happy Birthday from CMs throughout the day.
