Confused

HI Guys I hope you can help.
We are planning to stay at the Pop Century in February. the 11 -20th. My question is, If we get a late flight and dont get to the Resort untill the 12th will they hold our room for us? do I need to call and say that I will be late ?We paln on paying for the night of the 11th so that we can keep the value rate. Thanks for any suggestions.

have you already paid a deposit? I wouldnt say for sure ..but when you consider all the possible reason for delayed flights now days, if your deposit has already been paid then, I am sure they would hold your room for 24 hours.

Yes we put down a deposit and gave them our credit card info.

:) then its your room even if you get there a day late. of course if you find you are going to be late .. they might not charge you for that night if you can let them know in advance. how much of an advance notice I am not sure of. Hopefully someone else that might have experienced this will post a response.

Are you getting to the resort very late on the 11th or did you mean you are flying out on the 12th? Will the reservation be paid in full or just have a one night's deposit?

If just a one night's deposit and you don't get in til late on the 12th, your one night deposit is forfeited and your room goes back into the inventory of available rooms. The rest of your reservation is cancelled.

If you are getting there late on the 11th, including the very early morning hours of the 12th, you will get there in time for a check-in on the 11th. I have checked in as late as 2am. I would have them note on your ressie that you will be arriving after 11pm.

Your best bet is to call the front desk of the resort and ask them directly.

I would go the extra step and notify them you could be late due to a later flight. It doesn't hurt to make sure before you go. Better than finding out you don't have a room AFTER you get there.

I would definately call and let them know that you could be arriving on the 12th due to a late flight.

We drive 1200 miles to WDW from our home state and when I reserve a room it is for the day we plan on getting there such as the 11th and due to traffic, etc we may not arrive until it is actually the 12th and we still have had the entire reservation saved. I do notify them that we may not be checking in until like 12:30am, etc on the 12th instead of the 11th.

Do the rates change from the 11th to the 12th of February?

Or you could pay it all in full before you go, hopefully it wouldn't be a problem then since it is all paid for...

I mean, things happen, there ARE delays...I would call them on the 11th and let them know you are delayed and you don't know what time you will be arriving after midnight, but that you want to make sure your room is held. If it is paid in full already, I don't think it will be an issue....
