Laundry

Has anyone ever done laundry at the All Stars Movies? How much is it?

Thanks
Jen

The laundry room is located adjacent to the main pool. Washers and dryers cost $2 for each load. The dryers do not dry a load in one cycle. Detergent costs $1 so I suggest bringing your own. The laundry tablets travel well. I throw some dryer softener sheets into a baggie and take that along as well.

We have luck with taking two washerloads of clothes and splitting it into three dryers, if that helps.

I use the soap tabs too - *love* them! :D

*raises her hand* I always do laundry and have done it at AS Movies.. I buy those sample bottles of detergent and little boxes of fabric softner sheets and pack them.
take lots of change just in case the machine in the laundry is out ..which happens often .. you can get change in the video arcade

Just my 2 cents worth ... every time I go on vacation I do laundry (who wants to come home to face a ton of dirty clothes!!). I always bring my own detergent and dryer sheets as those little boxes they sell are expensive. My only complaint is the quarters that you need to use the machines. I don't know how many times the change machine has been too fussy with the condition of the dollar bill you try to use, so I try to bring my own supply of quarters. I know at my daughter's college, the machines were set up to use their college "credit" card that they could also use at the bookstore etc. I wish Disney would set up their machines so that you could just slide in your room card and not have to worry about change. It would be so much easier than remembering to have quarters or $1.00 bills, and would be the least of my worries as to what I've charged to my room.
