Water Mice @ POR
Do they rent out the little water mice boats at POR ?
I was reading my passporter and they mentioned the other types of boats, but not the water mice. Thanks!!

We rented water mice in Sept from DTD, in the boats there is a map, with the first stop being OKW, then going on to PO. We only went to OKW though. I wouldn't recommend renting them from DTD. When we rented them before we did from the Poly, the boats seem quicker, and it's a nicer area to cruise around in. DTD was very narrow once you got out on the path, and it really is a path that you have to follow, as opposed to just zipping around the seven seas lagoon and bay lake.

We rented them at CBR this trip and at Yacht Club in years past. The layout of the waterways at CBR is MUCH better then at Y&BC.

If you are at WL for any reason try renting water mice from there. My DH, DFIL and DS rented them twice last summer and had a blast. You can zip all over and see the Poly, GF, CR, and best of all the MK. At one point they were right out in front of the MK, my DS thought that was great. I think if you rent water mice at any of the MK resorts you will enjoy the great views you get of the resorts and the MK.

ah one of my favorite things to do at WDW, however I have to say I haven't been to POR in a few months the last time I was there they did rent water mice, they are severly toned down compared to the bay lake area or the seven seas lagoon. full throttle one rented at DTD, OKW POFQ, POR is about the same as 1/2 throttle at the seven seas or bay lake. I really recomend renting at seven seas or bay lake. the prices are the same. I'll tell you though if you have a good windy day try a HOBBIE WAVE its a sailboat, I took one out today in the wind we had down here and I was moving faster then some of the water mice. the hobbie's run about $12.50 for a half hour and are availble at the CONT (if they ever get there one fixxed, steering problem) GF (they may have 2) the poly, and I don't know about the WL or FW.

Lauren, I have that very same picture of my DS in front of the MK. I think that is a great view!

the best pictures of the resorts are taken from the water. the trick is to have some one who can hod the boat steady, this can be tough to do if there are alot of boats out there. the best photo I've ever seen taken from a water mouse was of the WL with the guyser going off.
