Flight several hours past checkout

Planning our first trip. If checkout is at 11, our flight is for 5, and we are using a town car service, will the resort hold our luggage after checkout like they do if you check in early? Can we still use the bus to go to Downtown and back to take up some of that extra time?

Oh yes, definitely angel's momma!;) That's not a problem at all, the resorts do that all the time.

WELCOME TO DISNEY CENTRAL!:) :)

Yes, all Disney resorts will hold your luggage on check-out day until you are ready to depart for the airport.

You can still use all Disney transportation on your check-out day.

You can do exactly what you said. Store your luggage, go to DTD and be back at your resort in time to catch your limo. We take the 7P.M. flight when we leave. We spend another day at the parks because we have AP's. Just have a Magical vacation!!!
:D :) Joe

even if you drive .. like we do, they will store your luggage. Last August when we were at CBR, we had our stored that morning and headed to the parks for the last day.. we didnt pick up our luggage till after 11:30 that night.

Ok, here's a question in reverse...
We are flying in and arriving around 3PM. Our friend from California won't arrive until 5 PM. Will I have to call first to let them know I'm "In the area" and checking in a little later, or do we have to be there exactly during check-in time?
I was thinking of calling ahead and alerting them of my later arrival.
