Fort wilderness for adults?

Ok, who's been to FW? Looking into PC and FW for adults only. Also, thinking of staying outside disney(can get 3starfor about $50 on hotwire). Any ideas??? Been to Disney many years ago, but never saw FW stayed at Caribbean and Contemporary

No clue about FW i cannot imagine that it matters that much!! They are all themed so that adults and kids both like the hotel. They all look good to me!!!! I don't know what to tell ya about the off-site but with the value resorts here now, I don't know if I will ever stay off-site again!! That is just my 2 cents. Good luck and im sure someone else can help ya more!!

We really like FW. The cabins are so nice and roomy. The atmosphere is beautiful. At night you can go up to the beach and see the electric water pageant pass by. You will also have close access to the Trail's End which has great food and is a really good value.

We have stayed at FW many many times.... The cabins are great. They sleep six and you also have room service in them. We also have a camper so we have stayed there in it. They have a sing a long with Chip and Dale every night along with a campfire, they have marshmellow and sticks for sale if you like that... They also have a movie every night out doors weather permiting. As MOTOXTIGGER said you can go to the boat dock and watch the electirc light parade. Also the Hop de do is at FW, they have quite a bit for Adults and Children to do... Our Children are grown, so it is just us Kids at heart here to do these things now. If you like the out doors you will Love FW, if you prefer a hotel I would not recommend it for you.:nooo:

:heart :) :heart Judy

If money and value is an issue go to PC, otherwise I think FW is for every one and is very much a hotel experience. It's the theme that you wish to experience. If it was just 2 adults maybe split your time and try both resorts, cover more Disney turf that way. Pack light.....

We have camped at FW many times and enjoy it. We do it the old fashioned way - in a tent! I think it offers alot for families as well as just adults. FW offers a totally different experience then the traditional resorts.
Some of our favorite things about FW:
You can watch the MK fireworks from the beach.
It is really peaceful.
The hayride.
The Breakfast at Trails End.
The nightly movies.

The discounts offered now are good ones if you were thinking about a trip.
