Fridge?

Should I have requested a fridge when I booked along with my other requests?
Or can I request it at check-in?
Thanks!!!

You can do either one. Last July we request one for medical reasons and just called mousekeeping when we got to our room and we had it in place and running in just a few minutes. I am not sure it will be in your room when you check in, you may have to call for it either way you request it.

We have always requested it when making our reservations but upon checking in we have to call Mousekeeping to have it delivered to the room so I don't see the harm in waiting until check-in. There is a $10 charge per day if it isn't for medical reasons.

I would go ahead and put it on your reservation because when they are choosing your room then this may depend because not all rooms have fridges. What can it hurt??

Except for suites and some Concierge rooms, WDW hotel rooms do not have refrigerators. You can ask them to mark your ressie as wanting a refriegerator, but you'll have to ask again at check-in or call Housekeeping when you get to your room, so it doesn't really make a difference if it is on your ressie or not.

At most resorts the refrigerators are the dorm room type that they move in and out of rooms. Most rooms do not have them in them at all times. I know the home away from home rooms do and I think the concierge rooms do but not the standard resort rooms.

Put it on your reservation but understand that you may have to call mousekeeping when you get to your room. Don't expect it to be in your room because you requested it on your reservation.

As I mentioned in another thread

Depending on how long you stay and how frugal you are it might be worth buying one and either leave it behind or take it back with you, heck if you buy it a Wal*Mart you could just return it. Remember its $10 a day for something that costs $60-75 new.

Last time we went I did not think of the above and even though we ordered one we did not get it, we had to call and have them bring one up.
