If you are talking about an entire ceremony with all the frills, it will cost the same as one of their wedding packages more than likely. I really have no idea of cost. They have several different packages to choose from. You should check it out on Dsiney.com.

There is a renewal vow ceremony that is performed at The Garden Grill in Epcot. Personally, I don't have any details about it other than it exists.

DH and I will be married 35years on our next Disny trip. I think he did do some inquiring, and to renew your vows, and just have a little something. Could be quite costly. Imagine that????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just being at DW is a great thing for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes our children can't believe that we go as much as we do. But again, it's all what you love doing!!!:) JOANN

At the Garden Grill at Epcot they do a re-hitching ceremony that's real cute. All it costs is lunch;) . It's a cute 5 minute ceremony that your server is in charge of. They involve other guests. It looked like fun, when we were there the couple next to us did it.

Tiggerlover1971 has done this with her husband, I'm sure she'll be around soon to post;) .

congrats on your upcoming anniversery!

Lauren

WDW vows

My husband and I got married at WDW in September...to try and get around the Disney FairyTale Wedding costs we got married at the Swan Resort- owned by Westin, not Disney. They set us up with a coordinator and went out of their way to make everything magical- at a fraction of the Disney Fees!! I can give you names etc... if you are interested. By the way, we NEVER felt like we were not getting married at Disney- all the magic was there. You can go as big or little as you like-even invite characters if you like!

We did the rehitching - I didn't tell my husband since I wanted to surprise (and embarass) my husband, but it *completely* (and hysterically) backfired and it was ME who ended up getting embarassed... :p

Reiko, that is such a cool idea!! Where did the ceremony take place?

We would really like to stay at the Swan or Dolphin - we *love* the heavenly beds.

vow renewals

We had two choices given to us for an outside ceremony...we chose the crescent terrace. It is nestled in a lovely treed area with a walkway leading to it. The center of the terrace is a kinda rounded area, 2 or 3 steps leading onto it. This raised area was large enough for several chairs for guests (30 people) and an arch for the ceremony. It overlooks the waterway that leads from the Swan/Dolphin to MGM...looking towards the Boardwalk. The other ouside option was a smaller area with a Swan Fountain in the center of the area...We didn't think it was as pretty as the Crescent Terrace. The resort set up a nice bar for us in the Terrace to follow the ceremony...then we all walked to The Beach Club for dinner. We had a guitarist playing Disney music throughout...it was very Disney and very magical.
The resort was sooo good to us. We even got a super upgrade with Club Lounge Privledges, and a treat in our room the night of the wedding, and a lovely wedding gift! We are hooked now, we can't beat the teacher rates at the Swan, and location, location, location!! :D

I am here sorry so late but I was away this weekend I loved this we decided to go to the grill for lunch and I made the arrangements for the rehitching for a suprise my dh knew nothing of it well the waitress kept asking us stuff throughout the meal kept saying our names like she didnt want to forget it and at the end of the meal she made us stand up and face each other and kiss while they counted to 100 actually before she did that she said because they werent invited to the first wedding they decided they wanted to do a rehitching ceremony and get married again and they asked us if we say i do to marriage again and then we kissed and they also brought us a huge cake that we couldnt finish so we gave it to the table next to us and they got to enjoy it too
