anyone used mouseketrips??

hey there everyone,
based on all the great info from DC and all ears.net, and mousesavers.com, I'm soo confused!!:dazed I'm pretty sure that mousesavers recommened using Small World Travel to book room reservations at WDW, while DC is sponsored by mouseketrips, so, who should i use to book?? Has anyone used either one or both? Are the savings and service really significant, or sould i just book on my own?? HELP please! I'm sure you DCers will have something to say that will be helpful, as always!:) :heart

Try picking up the phone and making all the reservations your self.Making reservations at WDW is so easy a travel agent is not needed,do some homework and Im sure you can get a deal. With the internet travel agencies are a waste of money. You can do it!:laugh

I've used Small World Travel 3 times and have had very good results. Unfortunately I started using them before joining DC. My next trip I am going to book on my own. When I go to Disneyland next year I plan on using Mouseketrips. I don't think I will be using Small World again, but I never had problems with them. They do not do plane tickets however.

The nice thing about agents is that they do the work for you, already know the best codes to use and do not cost you a dime. Agents will often throw in extras like Luggage Tags and Travel Planners to help make your trip that much more special. The main thing is that it makes your vacation less stressful even at the planning stages.

I'm using Mousketrips for soon coming trip. They have been great!! When the codes came out for our time frame, they changed my ressies and I didn't have to deal with it. I would highly recommned using them. I haven't tried the other you mentioned so I can't compare them. Have fun planning!

Mouseketrips is wonderful ...personal service .. this is our second time using them .. its such a relief having someone that knows what I need and want and does it before I even have to ask!! I use to do our booking ..it was never easy and I made mistakes with codes ..trying to use them myself.. Mouseketrips will get you the best deal and if a better deal comes up they will take care of it for you !! I wouldnt use anyone or anything else!!

wow, thanks for so much feedback so quickly! I think I will use mouseketrips. I also used to book everything myself, but I just got too stressed with special offers, and codes, and changing reservations in time, etc. I used a regular travel agent last time-never again! I will only use someone who specializes in disney. so far, the mouseketrips people have been helpful, but I've held off actually booking with them because I wanted to get the expert DC opinions first:love: glad I did! Thanks everyone

When you use a Disney only travel agent, you don't spend anything extra...and they do ALL the work for you! Some Disney agencies even book all of your PS's, and send you everything in a packet so you don't have to do it yourself. They apply all of the discount codes when they come out, and since they are agents, they get the codes before the general public. Then, they apply the codes ensuring you get the discount. And like Spidey said, you do get some extras...vacation planners, luggage tags, etc. It is definitely worth it to use a knowledgeable Disney only travel agent. GOOD LUCK! ;)

I just used Mouseketrips to help my boss book an 8 night trip to WDW staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Because of the large goup that is going, his family had added and dropped people during the planning process and they handled it with out a problem! Mouseketrips also saved them a lot of money!!

I know that my boss (and myself!) will be recommending Mousketrips to everyone that we know interested in a Disney Vacation!!

I have a question about Mouseketrips. I want to book for next January and start saving now. If I book with them, they will rebook when the codes come out for that time frame? I have heard such great things about them and want to go again next year but will need a head start on saving and planning to do so. Yes, I know I just got back, but is it possible to go to often? lol Thanks in advance for your help. I intend to contact them at the end of this week.

Dana, one other thing you can do is pay as you go along (ie. $100 a month, or whatever). Since your reservation will be a room only reservation, at least for the time being, all of that money is fully refundable. Nothing like having your vacation paid for before others even start planning.

Dana,

I know Mousketrips took care of getting the tickets for my boss and had WDW ship them right to us. Since we ordered his only 2 weeks before his trip, I'm not sure if those have to be paid in full at time of order or if you can pay them out, also.

When we used to go through another local travel agent years ago (not a disney only agent) she would allow us to pay out our entire trip over the course of a year, but we did the ultimate park hoppers with our trip. What type of ticket do you usually go with?

Mousketrips can save you a lot of money, especially if you have an annual pass!!
