Travel to/from Airport
Quick question...
Last year we went to Grand Floridian, and had a rental car - but never left disney property... We're going back (yeh!), and my husband is trying to figure out if we even need a rental car this time... We will be driving down from North Carolina... 2 Questions... 1. is there a rental car area @ Disney? 2. are there shuttles between Disney and the Airport? (we're flying back home) Any ideas?

Well im just wondering if your driving down where is your car going if your flying back?? But..... yes there is a car rental place on Disney property not sure which company it is but i do know there is one. Also, Disney doesn't directly operate any shuttles themselves (wish they did) but..... there is Mears, whcih is a bus service but the quality of service is not Disney quality. There are several companies that operate towncars that will take you to the airport. One of them is Tiffany's whcih sponsors this site!

Thanks, we're driving down from a week at the beach in NC (where we fly to), then drive to Disney for a second week of vacation and then fly back to New England...
I will check out the ones you mention...
