confirmed 2003 room rate today

I booked our January 2003 trip at ASMo a month ago. (through AAA) And had to reserve the room at the rate of $110 a night- because the '03 rates were'nt in yet.

Well, today I got a letter saying the nightly rate for our accommodations has been adusted to $77 a night.

So, happily the rate did not go up, as I wondering if it would. So that's a relief to me! Just thought I'd share........

I booked rooms through AAA for October and they are still $97 a night for 7 nights... Ya think they might ever come through with a better offer or will I have to cancel these and get new accomodations? Oh yeah, we are booked at the All Star Music resort.

tenrsingr, welcome to DisneyCentral! Yes, I would expect a much better rate to show up for October. Many of the current Discounts expire October 2, and I would expect to see a new round of discounts available within the next month or so. To give you an idea, right now you can find All Star rooms as low as $49 per night, Moderates for $79 and Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge for $119.

I would keep your eyes out here for discount codes, they will appear on the front page in the news. I am not sure how AAA operates, if they update your reservations automatically or not. Shelbysmom, you should do the same, you may see better rates as well.

Are these discounts for October of 2002 or 2003? Sitting here thinking about the fact that my AP expires in Oct of this year! LOL

The current round of discounts expire October 2, 2002. You should check out the rates and get one more trip out of that annual pass. Trust me, nothing is better than a trip to WDW when the passes are already paid for.

I saw the rates for Fort Wilderness & I'm hoping that I can get a Disney Club rate instead of $60.00 a night (which is way high for me...haven't ever paid that much before).
So, I'll wait and see!
