Disney Bus question

I actually never thought about this and never looked into it before so I thought I'd ask here. Do any of the hotels have busses that go to the Boardwalk? It may be a stupid question buit I just thought about it! Thanks!

Metalfan-

I'm sure someone else will know for sure, but I think what happens is you have to take a bus to the TTC and then get on a resort bus to the boardwalk.

Not a stupid question at all. The buses do not run from resort to resort so you will have to go to a park or DD to catch a BW bus. Some resorts do share buses so you may be able to get to another resort if your resort shares a bus with the BW. You can ask the driver before you board a bus if you think the bus is shared with another resort.

I don't think any buses run from the TTC except a bus to WL.

Coronado Springs is the only resort that runs a bus directly to the Boardwalk Resort. From all other resorts, you need to take a bus to a park or DTD, and from a few resorts to the TTC, and then transfer to a bus going to the Boardwalk Resort.

Thank you all! Thats what I thought. I figured if I ended up at Downtown Disney I could probably get to the Boardwalk from there! So thanks for all the help!!! I really appreciate it!

I would think it would be easiest or fastest (that doesnt sound like good grammars sorry :( ) to take a bus to the park that is closest to the resort you are staying at .. like If your staying at CBR then that would be MGM .. and from there take the bus to Boardwalk .. but I could be wrong.. it has happened *grin*

Depending on where you are staying...both PO resorts have a boat that runs to DTD.

I don't believe this bus betwen CSR and BW is running any longer.
The last time we were there in Nov. I asked and was told by a bus driver it was eliminated. But you can always ask! Joe

One of the easiest ways to get to Boardwalk, is to go to Epcot and walk from there. Also, the boat from MGM to the Epcot resorts (Swan, Dolphin, BC, YC and Boardwalk) will let you off.

One other option for you:

Take a bus from your resort to Disney-MGM. Not far from the bust stop you can either take a boat directly to the Boardwalk, or there is a nice path that will take you right there.

I think that would be much faster than going to Downtown Disney, waiting for another bus, and going over to the Boardwalk.

On thinking this over -- hey, it's Monday morning - I think taking the bus to MGM would be the best way to go. Most of the MGM buses let you off right at the entry to the park, and it's just a short walk to the boat launch (you don't have to go into the park at all). Then, you get the added benefit of seeing the other hotels along the water, and the boat ride is nice (about 15 minutes in total):) (boats are always nicer than buses)
