Disney stay minimum 3 nights?

Hi all

I have a question for you all.. I have read on another site that there is a minimum stay of 3 nights at all Disney resorts.

Does anyone know if that is true?

Thanks in advance.

Hi~ welcome to DC

I have never stayed onsite but from reading other post I would be incline to say that is NOT true. I have read about others who just stayed for one night. I hope I have given you accurate info maybe some of the more seasoned members will be able to elaborate.

:D

The only time I think that applies is with Packages. Seems like they say three or more nights. But you can stay one night at a Resort using room only.

The 3night minimum is for the Basic Package and other packages.

If you are reserving room only, you can reserve one night only if you wish. The only time you may see a minimum night restriction on room only is for holiday weekends.

So, if I understand, room only, there is no minimum for # of nights. However, you cannot get the UPH with less than 3 nights. And there is not a park hopper you can purchase separate from the room, like at the Disney store for 3 nights. If this is correct, if you wanted to stay less than 3 nights, you would have to buy your passes for the park at the park and not hop.
Hope this is not confusing..?

Well, yes on the minimum stay and no on having to buy a UPH for 3 or more days. However I'm not the best one to explain this because I have never done it.

You can get a one night/ 2 day UPH. It just has to be puchased separately from the room. (The only way to combine them into a package is with 3 or more nights booked, as has been pointed out.) For pricing on the UPH, starting with the one night option, see:

I know if you book through Expedia it is a three night min. And your stay can only start on certain days!
