Towel Creatures

Aloha Everyone!

Does anyone know about "Towel Creatures"?
Someone had mentioned it to me but didn't have any pictures.

Do they do this at the Contemporary?

Does anyone have any pictures of these creatures?

I would appreciate it! They sound cool!!!

Most of the deluxe resort's mousekeeping service leaves towel animals or people in them. I think it depends on the CM cleaning the rooms. My DD got a towel lady and man when we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, but I didn't get any when I stayed at the Animal Lodge. I don't have a picture sorry, but they are really cute. Think balloon animals, but made with towels. It really is a nice added touch when you come back to your room after a long day at the parks. The Contemporary is a deluxe resort, so you may get them. Again, it depends on the CM taking care of your room. I don't think that it is part of the service, just an extra.

Wow, I didn't know they did that! I guess that is what happens when you stay at the All Stars. The last time I saw a towel animal was on a cruise! It kind of makes you feel special when mousekeeping spends the time to give you a special treat! Do they do that at DVC resorts??

Not sure about DVC stays. Hang in. A DVC owner will be able to answer that for you.

Hi, I have several towel creatures we brought back from CBR last year, nearly every day our window would have a t least three, including a dolly, ghost, turkey, and a rabbit. Each one was decorated with coloured stickers for the features, and our Mousekeeeper told us we could take them home...and we did! I keep them in our bathroom and I would post a picture but I am not too hot at that and may have to wait until Tink returns for step by step instructions :) but I will try! :)

I didn't realize that the moderate resorts did it as well. Thanks for posting a correction for me. I never stayed at a moderate and wasn't positive. Thanks again for correcting me. I hate not giving the exacts to people asking. Can't wait for tink to come home either. Nice to see you BTW.:)

Yours are WAY cuter than the ones I got at Wilderness Lodge. I got a version of the lady without the stickers. Thanks for posting the pictures Dixie! Very cute. They must have been fun to find in your room.

Those are so cute!!:love: I hope we get some this year. Last year we stayed at AKL and as usual we left a tip everyday but never once got a towel creature.

Maybe it's the resort. I tipped every day as well and never got one during my stay. It wasn't that big of a deal, but these are just a nice added touch to your stay.

Our surprise was that they did towel animals when we stayed at Pop Century! They used DS's Mickey and some of his other toys and made a display in our front window and also some more things around the sink area.

DH was so suprised and DS wasn't sure what to think since his Mickey was not taking his nap like we left him, LOL

I wish I took a picture.

we also got animals at PC...people would line them up just like trophys on their windowsill! We only had birds, but they sure were cute! one was wrapped around the faucet, so it couldn't be saved, but the rest were put proudly on display in the windowsill!
