Room Keys?
Are your keys to your rooms also your park passes? And how do you keep track of your passes and your room key if not? Can you hook them to your landyard?
Thanks Jen

Only if you buy the length of stay tickets (ultimate park hopper)they are the same card as your room key.Not a good idea to purchase this, the ticket is only good for your trip check in to check out.Any unused days are gone regular tickets the unused days are good forever.Something to think about:) You can get regular hopper passes at your Disney store before you go they are cheaper than at the gate or resort counter.

We have never lost one but Im sure its a hastle, never seen a short guest service line in the parks.Just everytime you use it keep track of it,you will have it out a lot gate, fast pass, charging to your room ect.It just takes a second to put it away.If you buy your tickets at the Disney store we give you a reciept with all your ticket numbers on it so if you loose your tickets you can cancell the old ones and get a new one at guest service in the parks.

We usually just stick our tickets/room key in our pocket or a small pocket in our backpack. We have never lost a ticket doing that. If we have hoppers that I buy before we leave home I always make a copy of the tickets and stick it in our suitcase, just in case.
I would say more tickets are lost (left) in fastpass machines than any other way. I have seen people walk away and forget to grab their tickets, they we so busy looking at the FP that they forgot about the tickets.

Key cards
We have never had the misfortune of losing the cards before and to replace them isn't that much of a hassle. The kids love getting them and still play with them years afterwards. I agree, the length of stay passes are not a good value especially if you are a frequent visitor to the parks. Buy them ahead of time at the store and try and get a longer pass then you will need and use them for your next visit.

Yes, to both questions.
You get to keep your room keys. We always save ours as a keepsake. You get full use of the pool the day you check out of your resort.

I have never had a problem keeping track of my tickets. You cannot put them on a lanyard, because they are magnetized and in order to get your FP they have to go through a machine. They give you a little pouch to keep them in and they are small and fit well into a pocket or wallet/purse.
By the way, I have my resort ID and actually pulled it out yesterday, and it gave me a bad bad case of PDD.

Thanks
Great! I am going to be carrying a backpack with us to the parks. So I can just put it in one of the pockets. It does'nt get messed up if it gets wet does it?
Jen :) :)

Disneyluva... I take it PDD stands for Post-Disney Depression? At our house, it is a chronic condition!
And to Jenny -- Wanted to mention for this thread that at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, they sell waterproof boxes on a lanyard that are the perfect size for cards and keys. We use them all the time -- keep the cards in them while we are at the waterparks, as well as just keep the boxes in the backpacks at the major parks (you never know when you will get soaked on Kali River Rapids or Splash Mountain, and the water goes right into the backpacks!). Now that the PH passes at the Disney Stores are made of plastic (they used to be cardboard), it doesn't matter quite as much.

room keys and check out
Check out time is 11am, flight isn't until later. I have a length of stay pass and we were planning on checking out, leaving our luggage at the resort and heading to the park for a while. Are we able to do this?
