Poly ?

My wife and I and 2 kids (6&7) are going to stay at the poly in early may for 6 nites. This is our first trip to DW. Can anyone give me some info. on the which buildings and rooms would be best. I have heard talk about noise, construction, walking distances, etc.

Welcome to DC. I posted last week about rooms at the Polly. Here is a link to that thread. There are many different views and choices. They all sound great, but you wil have to choose what will work for your family. I looked all the info up in the Passporter as research for myself. I am staying there in January and can't wait! Hope this info helps. Again, welcome to Disney Central. You have chosen the best planning site out there.

There is A LOT of construction going on there now! They are refurbishing 3 of the long houses at the same time...but they are supposed to be done in May. Not sure when, though. If I were you, I would call to find out...when I was there in Feb, I felt like you couldn't truly feel what the resort theme was amidst all of that construction. It also closes off some of the walkways that get you from point A to point B the quickest...Call the hotel directly and ask what date they anticipate the construction will be over. If it will still be going on during the week you go, I might reconsider staying there.....

The Poly is my ALL TIME FAVORITE RESORT!!!
