Charactor meals closest to Wilderness Lodge
Hi Gang!
Well, we finally paid for one trip in advance. With the Disney Dollars for shopping at the parks, we should have to charge very little during the trip...we will see. Anyway, We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge in Mid-May and was wondering if any of you fine folks could advise me on one or two character meals that are close to this resort. I won't have transportation, so any tips on how to get to some of the meals you suggest would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Chef Mickeys is right across the lake at the Contemporary Resort. This is always a very highly rated character meal.
I believe there is a boat directly from the WL to the Contemporary. Otherwise you can boat to the MK and walk or monorail on over to Chef Mickeys. Have Fun!!

BuzzLightyear is correct, there is a boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary. Chef Mickey's is fun and the food is good. We have been for both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both.
You could also try Crystal Palace at MK if you like Pooh and the gang. It is just as easy to gt to, take the boat to the MK.

Also, take a boat from the WL to the MK and take the monorail to the Grand Floridian for 1900 Park Fare.
Also, for breakfast, you can take a monorail to O'hana.
