POFQ and ticket questions for Feb trip
We have reservations for the last week of Feb. '05 at PO French Quarter. But, we're having second thoughts and a couple of questions---mostly about the food service and the pool.
Food Service: Since there is no sit-down restaurant, is the food court more crowded? Are there plenty of choices in the food court? Pool: Because there are no quiet pools, does the main pool get packed? I have an 11 yr. old who loves the Riverside slide---are they comparable? We've heard that the POFQ slide is smaller. Lastly, we've never been to WDW in February before. We like the water parks a lot but as we think about what tickets to buy, we are thinking that it may be a waste of money to get an Ultimate or a PH+ since it may be too cold for the water parks. We'd love to hear from someone who has been there the last week of Feb. about whether the water parks are feasible. Thanks.

It's not very far to walk from FQ to Riverside to eat at Boatright's or the food court there.
You can use the pools at either place. FQ has a really neat slide. It's a sea serpent. I haven't stayed in Feb. so I can't answer that one. I would get the Park Hopper+ pass with as many days as you can afford. They never expire. Neither do the Pluses. We are buying 7 day park hopper + passes for seven days even though we won't be in the parks but 4 days. I have already started buying them from the Disny Store. I buy them 1 at a time. Then I don't have to pay for all of them at once. We are going in October for 8 days.

it depends on how long you are staying....and if you plan on visiting again within a one year period,we plan our trips around our AP...Why because the rooms are cheaper and you get discounts on food and shopping with one...after our next trip we would have stayed a total 27 nights ---3 separate trips the room discounts and saving on shopping and eating have practically paid for the passes

The food court does get crowded at meal times, but no more so than any other food court since the resort is much smaller. You can find the menus for the food courts at www.allearsnet.com
Hope this helps!
