dvc reservations

I know I have read the answer to this in a guide book or somewhere, but how early can non-members make reservations at a dvc resort? I seem to remember it being 3 months.

Re: dvc reservations

stinkyface, I really am not certain about this but, frankly, I thought that non-members could make reservations at any time because they'd be booking rooms that Disney manages (either via direct ownership or units that have been taken out of the pool for whatever reason, etc.). Since non-members are dealing with Disney's Central Reservations area, I believe that they have inventory available at a very high cost (usually). I'll look in my guidebook to see if I can answer this defintively though.

Re: dvc reservations

Do you mean a reservation similar to a reservation at a normal Disney resorts? ie. you are paying cash?

If so, you can make it the same as any other resort, bascally at any time. Right now, you can make a reservation through the end of 2004, and sometime this summer, they will open up 2005.

Yup! Mickey beat me to it (Well, he IS the expert after all!) Since I didn't have my guidebook handy, I went online to "Book your trip" and selected the Beach Club Villas in November. Availability popped up in a few moments, but the price was more than a thousand dollars for three nights(!)
