POR-ammenities?
Please forgive me if this information is floating around here and I've missed it.
My brain is on Maximun overload right now. Just sold our house, did the big move and then there's our trip to plan for. My question is, what is provided in the rooms at POR? I'm hoping for a coffee maker at minimum but, would like to know about an iron/ironing board etc.. Thanks a bunch ![]()

Re: POR-ammenities?
When we were there in March we had an ironing board and iron and an in-room safe which was realy a small hole in the wall with a big lock, LOL. I think you may request a coffee maker but am not too sure. There also happned to be a trundle under the bed but we did not need it. I think that coveres it but maby someone else knows of something else.

Re: POR-ammenities?
There is an Ironing board and iron in the room and hair dryers. you just have to request a coffee maker to get one in the room; however that does not include the coffee packets which cost extra, so if you are driving down then I would bring some coffee with me, and if you are flying then I would make a pitstop at the Publix just outside of DTD and get some and anything else you need for your coffee.
If you are in building 14, then you are right next to the food court, buy a refillable mug and walk over and get your coffee every morning or whenever. It's a beautiful walk and then the coffee maker is totally optional. Either way, I still reccommend the refillable mug. It's an incredible value and you can bring it back year after year and to different resort and use it again. It is definitely the best value at disney.

Re: POR-ammenities?
Thank You for the replies.
Having an Iron will be nice if needed. The mugs sound like the way to go. Our stay will be lengthy enough for it to be worth while (10 nights). So, how's the coffee? Gotta have good coffee ya know. We will be making a grocery stop when we arrive. I need my flavored creamer for sure. Thanks again.

Re: POR-ammenities?
I don't know about the coffee. I don't drink it, I drink tea. My mother (sjpurple) drank coffee every morning and I think she though it was good. I'm sure some other people on here could tell you as well. Making a grocery stop is a godd idea. Will you be getting a small figerator in your room as well (additional cost unless it is needed for medication)? However, it is worth the minimal cost to have it for cool water to take to the parks and snacks for the end of the day. Think about it.

Re: POR-ammenities?
The coffee at POFQ was much better than the coffee at AKL. That coffee was horrid!! Neither was anything to write home about.
