Can someone help clear up my confusion on Park Hopper passes ?
We plan to be in WDW for 5 days and most likely will be in and out of the parks.
I think that the Park Hopper doesn't allow same day readmission and the Park Hopper Plus does

You can leave and re-enter the parks with all passes,but the park Hoppers let you leave,say,MK and go to Epcot on the same day if you like.

Both passes allow same day re-addmission. They also allow you to hop from park to park in the same day. PHP passes have extras on them for the water parks and Pleasure Island. PH passes don't have the extras.

Park Hoppers do allow for same day re-admission to any of the four parks. The only difference in the two is the PH Plus passes give you a choice of water parks, Disneyquest, etc. and the regular hoppers only include admission to the four parks. Hope this clears up any confusion.

HTe plus passes do NOT allow DisneyQuest. You only get that option with the Ultimate Parkhopper which is reserved for resort guests and is a length of stay pass. When your length of stay runs out so does the pass.

the unused days on PH passes and days and pluses on PHP passes, are good forever -they never expire. I think this in a definite perk and worth the price. If you decide to skip the parks for a day, then you can mark than on the back of the passes and keep them for use on your next visit or accrue them and on one visit you will not have to pay for any tickets because you have already paid for all of them. That's a saving, because ticket prices go up every year.
