Re: favorite MK Counter Service place to eat

I suppose it depends on what you want.

Casey's is real easy and it's in the middle of the park, so you can get to/from quickly.

The dining areas at Pecos Bill (IMO) leave something to be desired, but if you want an all out hamburger, the fixins bar is pretty cool.

Cosmic Rays has great dining options, either inside and air-conditioned, or outside in the shade. For some reason, there's always a light breeze blowing through the outdoor area as well.

I've never been to Aunt Polly's. Like many others here, I haven't been out to Tom Sawyer's Island in years. I'll have to get out there at some point in a future trip.

We love The Pinocchio Village Haus! In fact, it's one of our "WDW traditions." We try to get a table overlooking the inside of It's a Small World and watch the folks go by in the boats. The food is good and it's in a good location.

Columbia Harbor House by far, Casey's would be second. I love Aunt Polly's, but have been unable to find it open during out last couple of trips.

I chose Pecos Bill's, but I have also enjoyed a few Taco Salads at El Pirate! I have never made it out to Tom Sawyer Island, so we haven't tried Aunt Polly's. Why has it been closed when you guys were there last? Is it only open seasonally?

Re: favorite MK Counter Service place to eat

I voted for Pinocchio Village Haus although we like Pecos Bills also.

Since so many like Columbia House, I think we will have to try there next time.

We never get to eat at Aunt Polly's. It has been open the past few times that we went but closes so early (like 3:30 or something) that we always seem to miss it. Tom Sawyer Island is our late afternoon tradition.

Re: favorite MK Counter Service place to eat

We had the most relaxing time at Aunt Polly's a couple of years ago. We only had desert, but it was so quiet and peaceful there, plus at WDW desert can count as a meal right?

We like Cosmic Ray's for the choices. You can get something other than a burger. We also like Casey's for the dogs. Last few times we've been to MK Pirata and Aunt Polly's were closed. They are both seasonal so We haven't seen them open in several years.

a funny story about Cosmic Ray's .. we can not eat there because Barbie refuses! She hasnt been in there since she was five (she is now 12) and she swears she was not/ is not scared of Sonny but she just does not like him and really hates his singing and jokes is the only reason.
