We are going to eat at Whispering Canyon in Septmeber!! We ate ther last September and LOVED it!!

Our experience was good but some of the other tables seemed to have a little more of an interactive waitress!!

Any suggestions on things to ask for or try to get them to do some of the funny things that go along with the theme of Whispering Canyon???

When you check in at the podium ask for a server who interacts alot. (and ask for ketchup..or a large drink)

Yes also if you have kids sneak a color out of the crayons and put it on other tables if you can and get you kids to ask for that crayon then it would be like the ketchup hahahahah

I ate there several times in 2002 and found that if you are out-going with the servers, they play with you more. They also pick on the VERY quiet..lol If you are game for some fun, tell them you dropped your fork, spoon or knife and ask for many drink refills. I asked for one to many diet cokes and the server brought me over a bucket filled with diet coke with a huge straw..lol I loved it there.

I have to say that the more you talk to your server the more fun he/she will have with you. We ate there twice last summer and had fun but didn't have as much fun fun as the people around us. We were there for breakfast and were just there to eat before hitting the parks. The second time our server was a little dull and we were feeling a little drained at the end of the day. We really like the breakfast food much better than dinner but WCC was much quieter in the morning that evening.

We were there when a newlywed couple came in. I would suggest you may get a lot of intereaction if you have some kind of celebration in your group (birthday, anniversary, etc.) BTW the newlyweds seemed very embarrassed and didn't stay for dinner... but we had fun! Everyone took them ketchup as a 'gift'!

Love it there! People next to us paid by credit card and the waitress announced that their card was declined (which it wasn't). It was really funny to see the reaction from the "guest".

We had a blast at Whispering Canyon !!! No one in our party (but me) knew what the place was like, so it was a big suprise.
Our serve was Tommy Tenderfoot. He was a lot of fun.
You could try asking for a toothpick after dinner....

Our server at WC was named "Heada Lettuce". She was fabulous. I've eaten there 3 times now and it's become one of my favorite disney restaurants. Have fun!

Isn't that the restaurant where they have pony races? If so...then we will be trying that restaurant on our March vacation.

Yes, Disneybound...WC is where they have pony races for the kids...and sometimes for the adults. It's a lot of fun and good food too!
