Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

We are planning to do Whispering Canyon and then go to DTD to Disney Quest! Do we have enough time to do both??? I think we will probably drive to Whispering canyon then to DTD to save Bus time!!!

How early should we eat??? When does WC open for dinner?? I would like to go a little bit after they open so the restaurant is a little bit busier!!! I think the things they do are more frequent if there is more people in the restaurant!!!

How long should we allow for Disney Quest??? We have 3 kids 5, 7 and 9, and all three love video games!!!

My DH loved Disney Quest last year so we have to go!!! I could take it or leave it personally!!! I would rather shop DTD while they do DQ!!!

Re: Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

I am not sure when you are going to go and I have never been to either place. But, wdwinfo.com says that DQ is open to 11pm.

If you have a 5:00 PS and are done and to DQ by 7:00. That gives you 4 hours of playtime. I think that should be plenty of time.

Enjoy!
Amy

Re: Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

My DD, DM and I went to DQ when we went in OCt. because we had UPHs and it was included. However, my DD was not that impressed and says she really does not want to go back. She's not really into video games though and that is probably why. I can't wait to go to Whispering Canyon, but I wasn't all that impressed with DQ and probably won't go back anytme soon. We went on one evening, and did not see everything. I think you almost have to allot half a day for DQ and I'm just not willing to take that much time away from the parks to stay indoors playing games.

Re: Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

Driving is definately going to help you hear. 5pm is the earliest dinner PS you can get. You are going to love Whispering Canyone. It's so much fun. I have never been to Disney Quest, but you shoud have plenty of time to have fun there if it doesn't close until 11pm.

Re: Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

Where is WC, any info on it? As far as DQ, for me it did not live up to it's hype. The Space Mt. roller coaster is an interesting simulator, but the fact that it spins you 360 (if you want it to) made me a little sick. I think Disney Quest is a little behind the times technology-wise. I think it's a great idea, but needs some upgrading.

Whispering Canyon is located in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge Resort.
My two DS's..ages 10 and 13...really have enjoyed DQ all three times they have gone there. They can usually kill a few hours in there while DH and I shop in DTD.

Re: Whispering Canyon and then Disney Quest??

Disney Quest was a big dissapointment to me. I was all excited about all the games and stuff, but it just wasnt that much fun with the exception of a few. The kids, 8 and 9 loved it and had a blast though. When yoo go make sure and do the Pirates ride.
