Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package?

My kids aren't real big eaters especially when they are excited about doing something else, like WDW. So for budget reasons plus not wanting to waste food we'll be splitting all of our meals one way or another.

Can we get the Mama Melrose Fantasmic dinner package and just pay for the adult dinners and split ours with the kids? Or get 1 adult and 1 child dinner and split them?

I'm wondering if they'll still give us the 4 tickets we would need if we only buy 2 meals? Even splitting the kids' meals would help us out.

Thanks.

Re: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package?

I doubt it, but it can't hurt to ask.

As an alternative, maybe you should consider the Hollywood & Vine dinner buffet. It's a lot more affordable than Mama Melrose's and the food is reported to be very good. I've never eaten there, so I can only tell you what I've read.

As a matter of fact, you can check reviews right here at DC: http://www.disneycentral.com/cgi-bin...oduct-sku=holv

Hollywood and Vine is good! Great dessert bar to. I normally dont like buffets but this is fine and defintely less $$$$ than MMs.

I vote for H&V also. Kid friendly items, all you can eat, great buffet and the most economical of the dinner restauraunts for the fantasmic package. Your kids will love it, especially the desserts!!

You don't actually get Fantasmic tickets for everyone in your party. They just give you one "ticket" (it's a piece of paper about the size of a 3 X 5 photo) for the whole family that is dated and signed by the waitress. (We just did this a couple of weeks ago). So, if they will let you buy less meals, it wouldn't affect everyone getting into Fantasmic. If it's not a buffet, I don't see why they wouldn't let you share. For the record, we ate at H & V, too, and also liked the buffet. Lots of choices for everyone and a kids buffet with kid-friendly fare for them to choose from. We felt like we had a really good meal there and were all really full when we left!

WOW!!! I know this is a tad off topic, but I was just looking at the Fantasmic Dinner Package section on allearsnet.com trying to find the answer to your question, and I noticed they have a comment From ME posted there! (sorry I couldn't find your answer though. I was thinking all members of your party have to buy the dinner. They do make you leave a credit card number when making the PS.)

Each person in your party is required to order a dinner. If you family isn't big eaters, I don't reccommend Momma's. My DD and I loved the food here, but it is just so much to eat. We couldn't come close to finishing it. You should just do Hollywood and Vine. It woukd make more sense money wise.

Re: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package?

Hollywood and Vine is the way to go. It's a really good buffet, and I usually can't stand buffets.

By the way, cahogbin, it looks like we're going to be at Disney at the same time

Re: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package?

This past May our "Magical Gathering Group" ate at H&V we really enjoyed it. The food is really great! Really not a bad price , considering it is a all you can eat buffet, and the desserts are good too.
I remember also doing Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic Dinner Package, and the meal did cost quite a bit. Of course, everyone has different opinions, this is just mine. I know whatever you choose, you will enjoy your dinner, and the show is just great!!!! JOANN

Jenny -
There's a few of us going to be there at the same time from DC. We might have to wear something special to identify eachother.

Re: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package?

That's a good idea. I pretty much blend into the crowd but Pete's a big guy as you can see from my avatar. He's also the loudest 30 year old kid whenever we get him to Disney
