Suggestions!

So far I have PS at Boma, House of Blues, Polynesian Character Dining, Ohanas, Yachtsmen Steak house, Tepanyakki (sp?) and Artists Point.

Im also considering LeCellier, Spoodles, and the 50's Cafe in MGM.

So, how are the ones I'm considering and do you have any other suggestions? Unique restaurant suggestions would be great. Whats a good italian restaurant as well? Thanks!

Re: Suggestions!

Man, add Jiko and Kona Cafe, and you have all of my favorites covered. I love 50's, but it really depends upon your server. Last trip, ours was horrible, not funny at all, didn't even try to be. Still good food. Le Cellier is great, can't miss there. I love Spoodles, but others find it just ok. That would be one you could skip.

Haven't found a good italian restaurant there, though I have heard that Portabello YC is good in DTD, though it is very pricey. Have you considered Marrakesh in Morocco? I like it much better than Teppanyaki.

Re: Suggestions!

Oops, Mickey already took my suggestion. You gotta go to the Kona Cafe, even if just for an afternoon snack. They have wonderful smoothies, and the Pan Asian Pasta is delicious!

Re: Suggestions!

Just make sure your Boma PS is for either Wednesday or Saturday night,as those nights are the nights they serve ribs.

Re: Suggestions!

Mickey's suggestion of Marrakesh is an excellent one! There cous-cous is fabulous. They also have a belly dancer for entertainment. We always enjoy this restaurant.

if you want some good italian food, there's a place in MGM near the Muppet store i think it's called Mama Rosa's Restaurant. it is a beautiful setting. it's very cozy. lots of pictures hung on the wall of visitors and characters and italian celebrities. food is top notch. it's a great place. you should look into that.

Re: Suggestions!

I recommend the Biergarten in Germany. All you can eat buffet, and a cool Oktoberfest stage show. My wife is taking me there for dinner tomorrow night, so I'll tell you if its still good.

Mama Melrose can be booked as part of the Fantasmic dinner package if you are going that route. 50s Prime time is lots of fun, as is Sci Fi dine in theater. I know some people have had some complaints about the food, but both these places must be tried once if just for the neat atmosphere. At 50s Prime time, when you check in ask for a server who interacts alot to avoid the problem Mickey mentioned in his post. Whispering Canyon and Teppanyaki are also good places to ask for servers who like to interact alot. It really makes a difference!

Re: Suggestions!

We always reserve at the Cape May Cafe Clambake Buffet at the Yacht and Beach Club. Wonderful buffet, and its not just seafood, its everything, even a kids section. We usually have this at least one night, sometimes two, we love it so. Be from the northeast, we love clambakes and clamboils, and although its not nearly the same, we'll take the littlenecks and all that goes with it at Cape May.

Be going in October again, 2004.........cant wait
