Crystal Palace character lunch? Which characters are at each?

I have two boys, ages are 9 and 4. Which restaurant do you guys like better?

Pooh and friends are at CP and Mickey and the gang are at CM. We enjoy Chef Mickey's and have yet to try Crystal Palace.

I did both in Oct. 2003.... We enjoyed Chef Mickey's MUCH more. The characters were scarce at CP and I was just not impressed. However, know that everyone's experiences are different. It is very possible that you could have a horrible time at Chef Mickey's and a wonderful time at CP... it just works that way...

I guess this was not much help, but I still vote Chef Mickey's!!!

I've done both and I like Chef Mickey's...Im not really a big fan of Pooh and those guys, so maybe that's why! lol...

Thanks for the replies so far..thinking Chef Mickey's is higher on the list now b/c I am not too sure if my 9 year old will go for just the Pooh type characters..lol Plus if we do CM, we can take the monorail over to MK after breakfast is over.

We have been to both more than once and our experiences were different each time. I would think that your boys might enjoy Chef Mickey's a little better especially if the Pooh characters are not on top of their list.

Have done both and I would have to vote Chef Mickeys. Enjoyed both of them, but I think I preferred CM.

Its a close call, but I would have to vote for CM. I love the food at both, but #1: I love breakfast but I never get up in time for it on my days off, and #2: I like Mickey and friends better than Pooh and friends.

I loved the CP and did not enjoy Chef Mickeys very much. Just like was said each has their own experience. Do both!!!!!!! : )

We loved Chef Mickey's. I've never been at the Crystal Palace so I can't comment on that but Chef Mickey's was great. We had a table right by the window where we could see the castle at Magic Kingdom.

i haven't done CM but the crystal Palace rocks. Pooh and Tigger and Eyore and Piglet were great. tigger was great with the kids. went for the lunch though but it was fantastic and now go everytime we're down there. just made reservations now.

Chef Mickey's for breakfast it is! The kids saw it on the Unwrapped WDW special the other day and both started hollering "I wanna go there!" ..thanks for the replies everyone!

Great choice!!!

They also have a wonderful prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes for dinner! I'm with DarthTortise...can't ever get up early enough at WDW for breakfast!!
