All my PS's are in!

Wow, this is actually the first time that I've had everything tied up so far in advance.

The best part is that I've been able to get all the good PS's. We have an H&V reservation for the Fantasmic dinner package and we have an 8:05 appointment to have breakfast with Cindy at the Castle!

Of course, NOW what do I do???

82 days and counting.

Maybe I'll "tweak" the plans a few times...

Re: All my PS's are in!

Start revising your "To Do List" and start picking up little things that are on your "Packing List". I worked with three packing lists that I found on the internet and combined them in to one list.

I started buying toiletry items, lotions, etc. about a month and a half in advance and putting in a pile in the corner of our room. That way I wasn't spending too much all in one trip to the store. Then cross them off the "To Do List".

Yup. That's all part of THE PLAN.

I felt the EXACT same way once I was done with my PSs. I think I'll pack the "swimsuit suitcase"...that'll take another 15 minutes off my countdown!!!

Let me ask those of you who plan obsesively. What would you do if,when you got to the parks, you(or someone in your party) decided you wanted to just chuck it all and just go with the flow. Would you?

I can go with the flow almost anywhere, but not Disney... it would be too easy to do a lot and do nothing if that makes since!

We have! We've decided one park was too crowded or something & we've even cancelled PSs 'cause we'd been eating so much we didn't feel like going. But at least the plan was in place in the first place....

We always "go with the flow". When I joined DC last year, I thought I'd better make some PS's even though I'd never done it before. We ended up cancelling most of them. We never know what we're going to feel like, day to day. I don't like the obligation of PS's. However, we also don't have small children to consider anymore. Maybe if I did, I'd change my mind.

You are gonna love Disney at Xmas. The decorations are great and there aren't any crowds (best part)!

I've started my box in the corner of my office at home. Sun visor for grammy, rain ponchos from previous years, dramamine for those of us who might experience motion sickness, and miscellaneous toiletries.

60+ days and I'm already starting to go nuts

Alma-
I plan obsessively, but rarely plan more than one PS per day. I have found that more than one PS makes me feel rushed from PS to PS. I will and have cancelled PS's and plans once down there becasue me or DD changed our minds. I'm not intense about keeping plans. just making them...lolol

Matt -
Congrats on your PS's. I am so glad you got the ones you wanted....especially CRT...your DD is going to love it!

Absolutely.

In fact, I've been very clear with the whole family about this for the upcoming trip. I'm prepared to ditch almost the entire "plan."

There are only 4 things that we "need" to do, because we've never done them : Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, Fantasmic and Beauty and the Beast. Everything else is simply gravy. I'm sure that we'll keep the CRT reservation, but beyond that, we are there to relax. We know we'll be back next October and there's a small chance we might plan a weekend over the winter/spring.

One of the reasons we're going is because the Summer has been and this Autumn already is extraodinarily hectic. DS is currently getting over a cold and last night was up until after 9pm doing homework. As a family, we need a break.

To me, going with the flow is the only way to truly relax.

Make sure you get there early for B&B, but not on a Sunday! You'll love the "set-up crew."
