Question about German Restaurant in Epcot

I am very interested in trying out the German buffet in Epcot this March on our next Disney vacation. Do they have any kid (and husband) friendly items on the buffet? We will be traveling with a 5 year old. Is there something there she will like?

Re: Question about German Restaurant in Epcot

We took an almost 5-year-old and a 2-year-old in 12/99 to the Biergarten, and they found plenty to eat. We're planning to return next month!

All Disney resturaunts have kid-friendly items on the menu, or buffet. I am sure there is something for everyone.

Re: Question about German Restaurant in Epcot

The Biergarten is a great buffet, with a very large selection. I think it's one of the best buffets at WDW. Nothing is too "different" - but I might be biased, I was raised with this kind of food. There are always children's selections. The salads and sausages here are especially good. And the sauerbrauten is excellent. Because it's supposed to be a beer garden, you will be seated with other people at long benches. But after the second beer, you're all friends.

Re: Question about German Restaurant in Epcot

As a professional picky eater, I can tell you that your 5 yr old will definitely be able to find something. I usually hate any kind of food besides plain American, but I found plenty at the German restaurant when I went. Disney's good about keeping us picky people happy.

I love the Biergarten. it is my favorite restaurant in Epcot. Their apple strudel is the best I have ever tasted anywhere!!!(Including Germany itself!!)
