New to WDW

Looking for dining ideas in and off property for adults. Fun-Casual and romantic or view also. I have seen O'hanas mentioned alot. What and where is at?? We've taken the kids to sci-fi diner cute idea, food so-so, and the Rainforest cafe, But it has been years since we have been there. Any help?

thanks, rob

Welcome to DC rob how !!!!! I would really suggest Downtown Disney for the two of you as for as fun and romantic there is so much there.. Pleasure Island and the Comedyware house. Tony's at MK. Epcot has some of the most amazing places for adult meals ..and who says you cant have a fun character meal even if your an adult .. I have seen adults who have Pooh help them prepose (spelling?) in the Crystal Palace :)

Re: New to WDW

Thanks for your reply! It looks like you have been at DC for awhile. I just stumbled upon it yesterday while looking for resorts. I still don't know all the ropes but looks fun and informative. We are westcoasters and know alot more about Disneyland resort. In fact, we were just there two weeks ago with our kids because our tradeshow/vacation was postposed till October thus just the two of us are coming in for only 2 nights instead of a week to WDW.
Thanks, Robin

O'Hanas is in the Poly resort. the food is great and so is the atmosphere. With or without kids, it is a great place.

We enjoy Boma in the Animal Kingdom Resort. It has lots of unique foods, there is something for everyone.

Best place for menus is www.allearsnet.com

Or check out our own rate and review forum. there is lots of good info there

Oh yes, Welcome

If you go to DTD, House of Blues is casual with great food. They even have concerts there. I think they have a website where you can find out who is in concert during your stay.

Cape May Cafe smelled unbelievable when we walked through Beach/Yacht Club (can't remember which one it was) on our way to Beaches n Cream (ice cream parlour). We're gonna try it on our next stay.

For information about all the restaurants at WDW, try using the Advanced Restaurant Search on the Disney World Web site. Just do a search for All Locations, and every restaurant will be listed in alphabetical order. From there, you can click on the link for each restaurant to get detailed info. All Ears Net has copies of most of the restaurant menus.

Welcome to DC! If you want a fun place with good food, I'd say Jungle Jims in Crossroads. It similar to the RFC but a little less of all the jungle/rainforest setting. The food is delicious. They have a huge page of burgers with different toppings and stuff. We always go there when we go to WDW. I would give you bad directions to where it is so wherever you are staying, just ask at guest services. Or here's their webpage http://www.jungle-jims.com/
