We are going to MMVMCP on Dec. 9th, and on that day we are just going to hang around the resort for a pool day (rest the children up). If I make a PS for a 5:30 dinner in the MK, do I need to use one of my "HOPPER PASS" days (for one hour?!?), or will my MVMCP admission get me in that early. Any Ideas or suggestions?

I've gotten mixed reports on this. From what I've been led to believe, while the party actually begins at 7pm, they have on some night, begun letting people in for the party (without park passes) as early as 5:30. I actually heard one report that it was as early as 4pm, but I find that difficult to believe.

I'd call the reservations folks, but don't count on getting a complete answer.

Personnally, I bet a 5:30 reservation will be perfect. Based on everything that I've heard, you should be able to get in without using a pass.

Yup. Did it last year and will be doing it again this year the same way. In fact, the MK will be closing at 5pm to non-MVMCP guests that day, so the only way you could get in then is with the hard ticket.

We'll also be at the party that same night. Will you be attending the Mousefest meets there, MrDisneyfan1?

If you haven't yet made your PS you may want to go ahead and make it. I just made mine for Nov. 30th MVMCP. All they had was 4:10 @ Crystal Palace & 7:10 @ LTT. I took the 4:10 & am hoping they will give us a wrist band so we don't have to leave & reenter. I am a slow eater normally, but this day I think I will be visiting the buffet many, many times.
I wanted the LTT, but I am not going in the middle of the party. My DD also wants to see Pooh, so Crystal Palace it was. Good luck with your PS.

We are going to plan do do as much as we can. I need to start checking out the activities! Very exciting!!!! We will also be on the cruise during Mousefest.

Any highlighted events you recommend?

We are rushing our entire summer and fall for this trip!!!

Well, you know there are Official Mousefest meets that night at MVMCP, right? There's a group photo meet at 7:30pm in the Liberty Square photo location, a meet 15 mins before Wishes on the Rose Garden path, and a 2nd parade meet 15 mins before parade starts on the porch of the LTT.

There's a Mousefest page at allearsnet that lists the official meets, and a page at Tagrel that lists more unofficial meets. I know there are other websites that have meets too. In fact, I think there was a big list posted by a member here on this site of all the meets too.

I'll be sporting a nametag that says "ddoll". Be sure to say hello if you see me.

And as far as recommendations.....of course I'd recommend the meet I'm hosting: Karaoke at Kimonos at the Swan on Saturday night, 12/11. If you know how to act immature and silly, you'll have a great time there.
