Haven't done the character dinner, but we always try to do a lunch there. We love the whole colonial atmosphere & the food is always wonderful.

Went there this past July. The food was good and the portions were large
and you could get extra. The characters were always circulating. Nice
atmosphere. I would recommend it an will probably go again.

Only drawback was that my wife had to wait a long time for bathroom
it is very small

We did it this past August, dinner.. the food was really great .. the charactors were ok .. but it was too loud and one bathroom, long line :( DH and I both thought the chairs were uncomfortable too. I dont think we would do it again.

I love love love Liberty Square, I think it is one of the coolest areas and totally underrated. However, what kills me is that the Liberty Tree Tavern doesn't actually have any beer (tavern=beer!) so I never bothered eating there.

I havent' done this one yet. This is one of the only main character meals I haven't done. The meal however good, doens't appeal to me or my DD. I haven't ever heard a bad review about it though. I'll keep the bathroom thing in mind....note to self : never use their bathroom.

lol Dana the night we ate there .. the line was so long for the ladies (2 stalls) it was going down the stairs .. I think I joked about a fast pass, but it wasnt funny .. I was nice and let this little girl doing the "gotta go" dance go before me ..but ooooooooo it was not good ..of course it wasnt good for DH either ..because while he leaves his w/c out of the dinning rooms .. its very hard on him walking up the stairs in more ways then one :(

again the food was great, really good ..but for us .. Its CP at MK :)

No beer at any of the Magic Kingdoms, unless you belong to 33 Club in DL. Seeing as this was Walts original intentions, I am glad they never changed this. But you will see me at The Rose & Crown at any given moment!

Re: Who has had Dinner @

The first time we went to Disney we had dinner at Liberty Tree and loved it. We were so excited about the second time we almost ran to the restaurant. But we were so disappointed the second time we never went back. The food tasted like a TV dinner, the beef was so stringy and tastless you could'nt eat it. . I see plenty of happy people who love this restaurant. If you've never been, then try. Tina

We have done LT 3-4 times already and have been completely satisfied. We do the holiday dinner the evening that we attend MVMCP. So many characters that we barely have time to eat. This is an awesome place to eat during the holidays. Most of the characters are dressed in holiday attire and you get the warm and cozy feeling. Great atmosphere and I highly recommend it.

Re: Who has had Dinner @

My friends and I loved it! We had dinner (with the characters). We are three mid-aged females yet we still had a grand time! It was sooooo much fun! We are all kids at heart and really enjoyed the characters. I remember saying something to Chip (of Chip and Dale) that made him pull one of my friends away from the table...in her chair!
She was so embarrassed, turned beet red, but the smile on her face is priceless...I got a picture at the time. She fondly remembers that evening. You should try the character dinner. I'd rate the food 'good', and the best part is you can get those extra servings.

Yes we did. :) It rained like crazy on our anniversary, so we walked around the park in Mickey ponchos getting poured on, so there wasn't much to do except sample our way through EPCOT. Wooo that was fun.:)

I have only done lunch there. Once in 2003 & twice in 2004. I love it. I know dinner has a character meal which is probably more expensive. Great place to get out of the heat.
