My PS's

Okay all, I made some PS's for my upcoming trip.

Sunday
-------
We arrive & will just be hanging out at downtown disney & probably take a trip over to the boardwalk. I thought we would eat lunch at The Rainforest Cafe (my DD will love all of the animals). Didn't do a PS, can you make them for this restaurant? No dinner plans...thought somewhere at the boardwalk, but may check out Olivia's at OKW since we will be staying there.

Monday
-------
PS at Chef Mickey for breakfast.
Will be checking out MK, but no dinner plans as of yet. Thought about checking out Tony's Town Square.

Tuesday
--------
PS at Donald's breakfastosaurus in the AK.
Dinner at Crystal Palace before MVMCP!

Wednesday
-----------
PS at Ohana's for breakfast.
Right now I have a PS for 50's Prime Time, but I would like to change to one of the Fantasmic packages. When I called Disney told me that the restaurants have not updated their availability for December since the hours just came out. I have to call back in a week or two??

Thursday
---------
PS at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast.

That's it for now. I really could use some suggestions for dinners. We probably won't be doing big lunches (just grab some things here & there). I also would love to hear some comments on these. I need to know if any are just so terrible that they have to be changed. Thanks for checking these out and for any comments.

Re: My PS's

Definitly try to get the Fantasmic package. It is so convenient. We ate at Mama Melrose (sp?). The food is very good and they have a great sundae bar.

Tony's at MK is great and is not busy during lunch. Servings are big and different from any other restaurant in WDW. True Italian cuisine without the high price.

Re: My PS's

Nikki -

What you have looks great. May I suggest O'hanna's for dinner? They are excellent and very fun for kids. Hoop-de-doo is another good one like Aggie said. Whispering Canyon and Lecellier are also great dinners. Definately get the Fantasmic! Package. It's nice to be able to creep in a special entrance a half hour before the show. You have to eat anyway, so mine as well try one of their places. Hollywood and Vine and Momma's are both great choices. The brown Derby has great food, but it's a tad to adult for me. I like the fun places.

Nikki - I would highly recommend that you try calling again about the Fantasmic dinner package - I have one booked for Dec 20th...

Definetly re-call about the Fantasmic Package!! I would also get a PS for the Rainforest Cafe that night. There is one at DTD and one at AK. Make sure you book the right one.

Nikki, have you ever eaten at CRT? Your daughter would really enjoy it.

Re: My PS's

rlander,
my DD is not at all excited about any of the princesses (I know, probably the only little girl on the planet!). she wants to see Pooh & friends, Woody (Buzz may do, but not confident), & Goofy. When I ask her about seeing Cinderella or Snow White she tells me to let other kids see them...she will see other people. I am hoping that at 1900 Park Fare they have The Mad Hatter as he is now my daughter's favorite. She doesn't know that he may be there & I am hoping to surprise her.

Re: My PS's

I forgot to thank everyone for their responses in my above post. I am in the process of trying to figure out what I am doing wrong in asking for the Fantasmic dinner package & will be trying to call daily until we leave.

Re: My PS's

I second Dana's suggestion of O'Hana for dinner. It is so memorable, and the kids do fun activities with the CMs there, and the food is really wonderful (so are the cocktails!) and you will remember it as your most awesome dinner!

We did the 1900 breakfast twice in May and we got the Mad Hatter both mornings. We also got Alice and Pooh both times. The rotation we got was Tigger the first time and Eyeore the second.

As for Fantasmic, I'm led to believe that they make certain inconvenient times available 90 days out, then they make a few more slots available at 45, 30 and 14 days.

I don't believe that it's a fixed calendar. I bet that's meant as a measure to protect the rest of Disney's customers from obsessive compulsive types like us to know how to get the best PS's.

So, your plan to keep calling is an excellent one. Chances are, you'll be able to get a good dinner PS for Fantasmic if you're persistent.

Good luck!
