Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
HI!!!!!!!
Im so excited this is my first thread ever...well i started asking this the "Whos made there PS" thread...but I thought i'd make my own hoping to get more responses...to those of you who did give me your feedback on the other thread.... kisses and flowers for you...basically in December will be my first time going to Disney as a certified "disney-a-holic" now I am a high school teacher and my dbf is still in college so money is practicaly not there...anyways we knew we wanted to do something special as far as "fancy dining" wise...so after many many days of going over and over allearsnet.com (a.k.a electronic mecca) we settled on Chef Mickeys..well i settled..he watched football and thought i was talking crazy...Ok so the point of this is I made PS for Chef Mickey's at 11:10 but after seeing so many people make PS for dinner...i must ask of those of you who have been there...which one is better at Chef Mickey's...breakfast or dinner?? And thanks so much for making me feel welcome here at DC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ![]()

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
Thats a tough call. I really like breakfast, mostly because I'm never around to have a real breakfast, its usually something quick before I run off to work. However, dinner there is fantastic! They have this awesome macaroni and cheese and all the 'ronis are Mickey shaped!
I guess I'm really not much help here. Sorry. ![]()

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
I personally haven't BEEN to either YET..we have PS for dinner at CMickeys in December. If you are tighter on funds, breakfast is $5 cheaper per person so that saves $10 right there plus tax and tip will be less on your bill. From what I've read, you can't go wrong with either meal.
The reason *I* chose dinner was b/c we wanted a sit down place to recharge and rest in the middle of our park day(we are going to be at MK all day). Plus the kids saw the ice cream sundae/desert bar and were really excited about that. Also, I am NOT a big breakfast person. I am happy enough to grab a cheese stick and an apple and run out the door to the parks. Getting up early to be IN the park at 8am that day will be enough and I didn't want to deal w/ trying to get in and out of Cmickeys in time to get in the park at 8am. Either way, have a great time and enjoy your Disney adventure!

I've only been to dinner at Chef Mickey's, but it was fantastic. Lots and lots of fun. Lots of food shaped like Mickey. If it is anything like the rest of the WDW resorts, I'm sure there are Mickey waffles there too.

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
I have been to both breakfast and dinner and liked both. Dinner has some yummy choices, the parmesan mashed potatoes and the prime rim were very good. However, I also like breakfast and rarely take the time to eat a big breakfast so it's a treat on vacation.
I guess I am no help because I liked both meals. Can you flip a coin? We make many decisions in my house on the toss of a coin.

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
That is a really tough choice. Both meals are great, but I would keep your 11:10 ps and use it as a brunch. You can have a snack in the am to hold you over till 11. You will save some money doing it this way too. You can have your main meal at this breakfast which cost much less than the dinner and grab some counter service for dinner. You DBF sounds like mine. He just says "yeah..uhh ok hon whatever you want.." lololol

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
We have eaten both meals at Chef Mickey's, and our family really likes the dinner better. We enjoy eating dinner out more than we do breakfast. It is a little more expensive, but not alot. I do think it is a personal chose as far as which meal you prefer, and with Chef Mickey's, you can't go wrong!

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
We decided to do Dinner. The main reason is we don't like to walk around the parks with a very full belly. I always eat to much at buffets. LOL

Re: Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner
Hi!
We have just returned from our first trip to WDW- fantastic!!!! We only had dinner at Chef Mickeys (did the breakfast at 1900 Park Fayre) but it was unbelievable! Dan our waiter was fantastic. We had dinner on our first proper night there and it is still the first thing that issy talks about! The only thing I would say is that think about where you are going to be spending the day and what you are like on rides. If you don't cope well on a full stomach go to the dinner. Also, it will give you a very magical and spectacular end to your day! We loved dinner - food was great and we never felt rushed. It was expensive - probably one of the most out of all the CM's we did, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again! dinner gets my vote!! Enjoy whatever you decide to do!
