CRT to undergo refurbishment in Jan.

Just thought you might be interested.....
I just called Disney Dining to make a PS. and there is a message when you first call stating that CRT will begin routine refurbishment on Jan. 17th, 2005. It will reopen Jan. 17th for lunch & dinner & Jan. 18th for breakfast. Hope this doesn't ruin anyones plans.

Update on CRT: It will not open for breakfast untill the 29th. When making my PS's yesterday, the CM informed me they are pushing it back.

Pete is DEVASTATED that we can't do CRT this trip because we'll be there from the 16th to the 23rd. I like it a lot, but mostly because it gets us in the park early. However, it will be nice not having to get up early, particularly considering we're staying way out at AKL this time. Looking on the bright side, I guess

Sorry Pete is so upset about missing CRT. The princesses will be weeping I'm sure from missing him..lolol Honeslty, the buses at the AKL are the most efficient I have come across yet. You aren't sharing with any other resort and they are very on schedule. I am certain you will like it there.

That's good to know, thank you Dana. I hadn't even thought about the buses since I will have my car. But it's more convenient to not have to worry about parking sometimes.

Especially when going to the mk...that can be a real hassle parking. Glad I could help. I will be there the same time as you and in the same hotel. I may see you waiting for the bus..lol Hope you enjoy this resort. It's one of my favorites.

I will be there from the 21st until the 24th. We are moving to the polynesian and staying there until the 27th. I ended up getting 2 rooms at the AKL for almost the same price as my one rom at the polynesian. It will be a bit easier with my DBF and the kids to have more space I think. I have a DC pin and intend to wear it with all the DCers around that week.

Oh and BTW, thanks for this info about the CRT refurbishment. The character breakfast was one of the meals I really wanted to attend when I finally make the trek to WDW, which will be very soon, hopefully!
