Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
Our plans are pretty well complete for our Feb. 2005 trip. But we can't seem to make up our mind on which breakfast character meal to go to. Have previously been to Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends. To those of you who have been to any of these three (or all of them) please tell me which you liked better. Also which characters appeared. From what I get from the guidebooks it is usually Mickey, Goofy and Chip at Chef Mickey's and Donald, Mickey and Goofy at Breakfastosauras. Does Minnie ever appear at either of these? Thanks for you input. |

Re: Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
I would recommend Chef Mickeys over the Breakfastosauras ..while other times at Breakfastosaursas its been fun ..but our last time there was not the best experience ..we were "rushed" through our meal.. at Chef Mickeys we have never been rushed and its soooo fun!!!! Minnie is often at Chef Mickeys, but we have never seen her at Breakfastosauras.

Chef Mickey's all the way!!! I remember going to Chef Mickey's when it was over at DTD. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere.

Hard decision. I liek them both very much and for very different reasons. I would say that the service is more consistant at Chef Mickey's, but both are truely great character breakfasts.

Yup, I'm voting for Chef Mickey's too. It's awesome, plain and simple.

Re: Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
Recently did both and I'd have to say Chef Mickeys.... We enjoyed Donald's but you get more of a "restaurant" experience at Chef Mickeys. Donald's theme is a bit "campy", although the food was good and the staff friendly. (But hey, you're supposed to be on a dinsosaur dig, right?) Also felt a bit tight and crowded compared to CP and Chef Mickey.

Minnie is at Chef Mickey's for sure, but I can't remember if she was at Breakfastsaourus or not. I vote for Chef Mickeys, also, just because it was more fun.The food is comparable, but the atmosphere at CM is just more festive and I think not as rushed.

Re: Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
I have been to Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. I absolutely loved everything about Chef Mickey's (and yes Minnie was there on our visit too). I liked the characters at Crystal Palace & the decor, but I did not like the food at all. That being said I am going back this trip too. I have to see Pooh & friends. I am also going to Chef Mickey's & will be trying Breakfastosaurus for the first time. I have only heard good things about this experience, so I thought I would try it. A good question for yourself would be does it matter if the restaurant is in the park or not. If the answer is no then my vote would be for Chef Mickey.

Re: Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
My vote goes with Chef Mickey's. I am probably the biggest Pooh Fan of them all with my DD being the 2nd biggest Pooh Fan, but my absolute favorite, must do no matter what meal at WDW is Chef Mickey's. Every time we have been, we have seen Mickey, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Minnie. It may not be in the park, but it is the best character meal we've been too, and we have done most of them.

Re: Chef Mickeys or Donald's Breakfastosauras
I vote for Chef Mickey's too! We loved it and we are trying to fit it into our schedule for our next trip. I currently have PS for Crystal Palace and Breakfastsaurous and I hope that we have a wonderful time. From all that I have read I think we will be fine but there is nothing like Chef Mickey's! Oh BTW Minnie was there during our visit as well as Donald.
