In my search through all the meal voucher stuff, I am unable to determine if there is a voucher for Character Dinners. I have a PS for dinner at Chef Mickey's and am wondering if there is something that I can purchase in advance to cover this meal. Not really looking for a big discount, just like to have all things prepaid up front if possible.

No character dinner vouchers...sorry about that. The only ones they offer are breakfasts, quick and casual lunch/dinners which are for counter service and kingdom lunches which are for sit-down lunches.

Thanks, Dana. I appreciate the help. I was just hoping someone might have found them somewhere. I am trying to get as much of my trip paid in advance. Less money to try to carry around.

We are going to be there from 1/13 - 1/17. When is your trip?

I am going from the 21st until the 27th of January. I ma splitting my stay between the AKL and the Polynesian. I totally understand your want to pay off as much as possible in advance. I did the same thing. I bought tons of those lunch/dinner vouchers and plenty of breakfast vouchers. I plan most of my character meals in the AM before I start my park touring, so it worked out great for me. I have a few nice dinners planned too, but with the others paid off already, it won't be that big of a deal. One thing you can do for dinners, is figure out the cost, and buy disney dollars in that amount. It's still paid off, but in a different way. I have anywhere from $100-$150 DD for each day of my trip that I have been buying throughout the year. The advance paying really sets your mind at ease. Like you, I don't like having all that cash on me. I pay for everything in cash and avoid any kind of credit card paying. That way you aren't hit with a bill after he trip too. Please let me know if you need any help with the voucher thing. It would be my pleasure.

Thanks for the help! The Disney Dollar thing sounds like a great idea too. We have a Disney store in our mall here, so I think I will get started. When I am there on vacation, if I see something that I want to buy or my daughter does, I don't want to be thinking, ok, how many more dinners do we have planned and be worried about making sure that I have enough to cover it. This will be our third trip in three years. I absolutely can't wait!!!

disney dollars........smart idea....do they only sell them at the disney stores....apperantly the disney store wasnt a hot commidity here in the good old bible belt so they closed them all within a big radius
