My top two favorites are ABC in MGM and Cosmic Ray's/ Pinnochio's is decent too.

Tusker House in the AK is very good. Other than that no other counter place stands out to me. They are all OK.

Very good point! That's exactly what I do when I bring my Dad or sister with me. In fact, it's been so long seen since my Dad had a complete meal to himself at WDW, that he recently declared that the highpoint of his DCL cruises was getting to have a plate of food ALL to himself! "The highpoint?" I queried, as the one who PAYS for his cruises in which the highpoint is merely having a plate of food ALL to oneself. I then reminded him that he could also have a plate of food ALL to himself AT HOME while I travel WITHOUT him. Which brings me to my next point.

Since I'm traveling alone this time...ahem...splitting entrees won't be an option for me this trip. But I'm so glad you mentioned it because it's a wonderful cost-saving measure for most of the folks reading this thread.

I certainly don't want to leave anyone with the impression that I won't be enjoying ANY table service meals. That goes against the laws of nature, as I interpret them. I'll be meeting a friend at Artist Point for dinner one night, and on another night will be joining a friend at Crystal Palace before we "party" at the MVMCP. I will definitely treat myself to one or two more table service meals. But I haven't made any PS's since I'm trying (so hard) to be less of a planning maniac this time. It's killing me.
