Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We did both on my last trip. I made a PS for dinner but one day we wanted breakfast and we stopped by, one of the last seatings like 11:30am and thought we would give it a shot by just walking in for a table, I went up to the podium and asked if they could squeeze us in, 1 person told us no and someone else said to wait, and we were seated after maybe a 5 minute wait!!!
Iam so glad we went, I really enjoyed the Breakfast after having no intention of doing Breakfast there, just a Dinner and for the record I enjoyed the Breakfast more. Dinner was good but Ive had better buffet dinner's at Disney. I think my fav dinner (from what I experience so far on my 1st trip) is the dinner at 1900 Park Fair at the Grand Floridian, coming up 2nd I really enjoyed Crystal Palace and I loved H&V as well!!
So I would definately book the Breakfast and yeah book it late!
We had all our breakfasts mid to late morning and it held us over till Dinner time!!
Have fun!!

We really enjoyed the breakfast at Chef Mickeys......it's really a great way to start your day Disney style and get fired up for the rest of the day.

Great idea about the late breakfast....going to try that this year.

No doubt! Breakfast!!!

Compared to all the other Dinner buffets at WDW I think Chef Mickeys is my least favorite.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We did Chef Mickey's on DS birthday. Like Karliebug, we did last seating (11:20). This served as our lunch (Breakfast in the room). We found the restaraunt was emptying out by this time of the morning, giving the kids more character interaction.

Same thing here...we did an 11:20 "breakfast" and it was wonderful! Lots of fun and the food was VERY yummy!

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We always do breakfast. Dinner seems reserved for the signature sit downs, or have been in previous years. I still need to play around with the new plans and add everything up.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We are going for dinner for the first time on our next trip. I thought of doing breakfast, DH loves breakfast buffets, but my kids don't eat enough in the morning to make it worth the money. On the other hand, from 3-7 in the afternoon, they eat non-stop.

I know it's the characters as well, but I can't see slapping $60 down just to see the characters. I can always go to MTTF and get in line for free, yes?

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

Chef Mickey's is the 3rd most popular character meal on property regardless of B,L, or D. The only 2 that are higher are Cinderella's Royal Table Character Breakfast and the Princess Storybook Breakfast. That being said please book in advance and don't count on being seated as a walk-in. It is very highly unlikely these days!

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

When I can make a PS for Chef Mickey's? Is it the standard 90 day?
