Icon5 Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

I've heard so many great reviews for Chef Mickey's we have to try it out! Which would you recommend..the breakfast or Dinner and why? At that time my oldest DD will be 9 and my youngest DD will be 2. Thanks!

We love the breakfast! It's a great start to the day, and we usually eat so much that we can skip lunch!!

We have never tried the dinner at Chef Mickey's but we love the breakfast. And as suggested you could eat enough to cover lunch.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We have done both breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey's and enjoyed both. That said, I would have to go with breakfast. Breakfast out is a treat for us, we don't do it often. Honestly, I didn't see any difference in the character interaction between the two and that is what we really go for.

We usually eat breakfast at the last seating available(usually around 11) and count it as lunch. Breakfast prices are less expensive than lunch or dinner and the food is yummy.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

Hands down for our family its Breakfast!!! and karliebug is very right ..all meals at the sitdown restuarants are more expensive then lunch or breakfast.
we perfer a late breakfast at any of the Character Meals ..but specially at Chef Mickey's
it seems easiest to get a walk up then and because most people have finished and have left for the parks you get more time with the characters at your table.. also having a late breakfast / brunch .. you can actually save a by not having a large lunch.

Great!!!!!!!! I have PS for dinner We're going 2/5-2/12/05 me, DH DD 5 & DS 2. We visited about 3 years ago with my DD & she LOVED it so I thought we'd do it again for the 2 kids. We're not breakfast people & the PS is for a day that we're not going to the parks so I thought it would be a great "Disney" thing to do.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

We havent had dinner at chef Mickey's since it was at DTD .. Its one of those things we say we are going to do next time ..but so much to do ..so little time. Of course when it was at DTD it was very very nice, oddly a bit more adult too. ..only Mickey was there and he would come around to each table. Breakfast gets Rowdy ( pun intended since thats were we saw him or his friend Goofy ) and can be extremely a blast and start you day off great!!!

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

Both are excellent. This trip, I am doing like Karliebug suggested and doing the last breakfast seating and callng it a brunch. Something new for us that I hope works out.

Don't sweat it, your idea is a great one, especially if you are not breakfast people.

Re: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast or Dinner?

Hmmmm? Sounds like breakfast will be the way to go for this trip! I like Karliebug's idea of doing the later seating and making it more of a "brunch." Although I'd have to give my kids something small in the a.m. because they wouldn't make it to 11am. Actually we usually eat lunch at 11:00-11:30 anyway. We'll have to do that..you absolutely right on with the price thing, too. 95% of our meals are at a sit down restaurant. We spemd waaaay too much $$$ so this trip we need to scale back a little. You're also 100% about starting the day with all the characters and a good breakfast. I never thought of it, but when we had a character breakfast at O'Hanas it really set us up for a great day! I liked Cape May too, but it wasn't as fun. I can't wait to try Chef Mickeys!!!! Thanks everyone!
