Re: Will dining plan save money?

Another meal plan question:

Are you able to do a character "breakfast" as one of you "sit down" meals of the day?

I think Fulton's is left off Because it's not Disney owned.

Re: Will dining plan save money?

You may want to look at the official list of restaurants now posted at the Disney site, There are few restaurants that aren't buffets on the list(at least at Epcot), I was considering the package but now I don't know since alot of the places we like are not included. Now if there is a discount to the package then it might be worth it.

Re: Will dining plan save money?

$35 for me and my DD =$70 per day for meals....saving me money right there. We tend to eat a sit-down breakfast and dinner and usually grab a snack or something for lunch.....hope they do this for APers. It would be a nice bonus with the room discount.

Thanks for the link Toy1310!

Any idea why they wouldn't include most of the Epcot restaurants??

A basic dining package, do you mean? That can be purchased separately? Because I' already have my room and tickets, bought separately. If I could add on that dining plan I would in a heartbeat. Who could I ask, do you know?

Re: Will dining plan save money?

Dana, AP holders can now get the dining experience card for $50. It gives 20% off many of the sit-down restaurants, but not the counter service ones. Except in AK, you can get your discount at the counter service restaurants because they don't have a sit-down. I don't think it as good a deal as the dining plan.

Re: Will dining plan save money?

OK, this dining plan sounds awesome if you use all of your sit down dinners.

My question, Will WDW be losing money if everyone takes advantage of this? Do you think this dining plan is going to last?
