Princess Storybook Breakfast

We are thinking of taking our DD age 4 to the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot. Any advice on it? Was it good or bad?

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

I have heard nothing but rave reviews. I would assume it has gone over very well because Disney just expanded it to Lunch and Dinner.

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

Very good. Some princesses you don't see at other events (Mulan, Snow White, and my 6 year old is saying Jasmine too).

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

Maybe we can take our 8 year old DGD. Is it still at the Norway restraunt? Askerhaus (sp?) Is it hard to get a PS? If you go for lunch do they still have the Norwegian food?

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

the storybook princess breakfast is sort of like having breakfast at CRT, mostly because you're eating the exact meal you would at CRT (eggs and bacon, potato cassorole (sp?), fruit, and pastries) cinderella is not there of course cause she's at her castle. when we went, sleeping beauty, snow white, mary poppins and belle were there. storybook is much bigger than CRT and it's just a lot of fun there. getting a PS there is much easier than getting a PS at CRT. your DD will love it.

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

Tragic - nice avatar.

LRTJS - it is still at the Norway restaurant (your attempt at spelling it is better than anything I could try.) For Breakfast, keep in mind that if you are entering Epcot from the back entrance, near the Beach/Yacht club, you need to walk clockwise around the world showcase...no shortcuts counter clockwise (world showcase isn't open in the morning), so you need to plan your timing for that walk.

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

We just returned from Disney and we did this breakfast. It was great and I highly recommend it! We entered through the front of EPCOT, staff was on hand at the front gate with a list of the priority seating and they asked our name and ushered us staight in. The only problem we had was it was raining extremely hard. On this particular day, Orlando received record rains and some streets in downtown Orlando flooded. Anyway, it is not like driving up to a resturant and running in. You have to park at the EPCOT parking lot, then get to the gate then the walk from the front to Norway. We considered cancelling and even called to inquire to see if that was possible. Well, anything is possible, but we would have had to pay the cancellation fee. So off my family swam to breakfast. So.... I tell you this to make certain if there is any rain in the forcast whatsoever, be prepared! We had rain coats, ponchs and umbrellas and we were still soaked. Disney did a good job in spite of the rain, as we entered the resturant, there were folks greeting us with dry towells to try to help a little. So just be prepared if you book for all the possibilities.

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

Im glad to hear that we can go through the front entrance- I have a pretty early ps for that one and to leave even earlier would really stink!

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

We did it in December with our 4yo daughter and loved it. The waitstaff there was the friendliest of any restaurant, in any park. We had Snow White, Mulan, Jasmine, Belle and Aurora.

Re: Princess Storybook Breakfast

Sounds like you were pretty prepared for the rain but I'm not sure you can do much in a deluge. That was so very nice of the CM's to have towels waiting for you. It is a fairly long walk from the front of Epcot to Norway.
