Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...

libade, I am concerned about that very same situation. I have my rooms booked but I want to wait and see if room only discount codes come out before I add the dining plan. We love to eat but I can't imagine eating that much, we usually eat a fast food meal and a sit down meal each day but I don't get any of the extras like dessert and appetizers.

Iam going to do that for a dinner show instead. I didnt want to leave the park but I was thinking about Cape May Cafe clam bake. My mom loves seafood, I dont but there is ALOT of other options for me and DD. The reason I wanted to stay in the park was to get a good seating and watch Illuminations afterwards but even that chicken dish at Rose & Crown sounds awful! My mom would love the fish and chips though.

Hopefully they will add LeCellier in the future , I would love to try it out!!!

Ohh........I guess not everyone can love The Rose and Crown...but honestly..it is excellent

Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...

I would be happy if the counter service places in Epcot were included. Many years ago (about 20) we had done the "gold" plan. Three sit down meals a day. After about 2 days, we were tired of "good" food and wanted just a hamburger. We had a 5 and a 2 yr old at the time. But now we would be happy to go a whole week without a hambuger, and that would be possible if the counter service at the countries would be included and we could use the sit down meals else where.

What is DDE? Never heard of this. We are APs and going in a month. Wonder if this would benefit us.

Also, where is Beaches and Cream? Never heard of it.
Thanks!!!

DDE is the Disney Dining experience. For 50 dollars, you get a card that will give you 20 percent of many of the restaurants in WDW. They will give you a list of participating restaurants. As to Beaches and Cream,it is a marvelous hamburger place in the Beach Club resort, one of the Epcot resorts.

Re: Magic Who's Way? Dining...

" I booked a room at PC using a discount code - when I tried to add the tickets and dining, I was told I would lose my room discount. It ended up being an extra $40 per day. I chose to keep the room discount and not use the MYW dining plan. "

I was in the same boat. I was so excited when I first read about the plan since character meals were included. But it didn't make any sense to give up the awsome discount code we got on the room for the dining plan. Plus, if your little ones are like mine-they are starving until the get their food and then only eat a quarter of it. So dining our way is going to be spliting meals between the kids at counter services.
